Like I said before, I wasn't too hyped about Galaxy when I first heard about it, whereas with Brawl the hype is massive. That's why people wanted to play Brawl.

Looking at Galaxy now though, I'm itching to get it.

I actually think the opposite is true. Mario has universal appeal. Brawl appeals to fans of fighting games. Honestly, I would say of the people I know in person, the majority do not play Smash Bros. You also have to account for the expanded audience that Nintendo enjoys with the Wii, many of whom are probably going to want to check out Mario.

Galaxy also has a wide appeal. Mario appeals to everyone.

Space junk galaxy reminds me of Jolly Roger Bay. Be careful reminds me of Goldeneye lol.

the guy ripping the music didn't finish yet. ( he said he couldn't rip the bosses themes"the bosses are too noisy" and he finish the game with 60 stars, so he doesn't have an access to the secrets areas).

Aargg...just called my local Wal Mart and they said they wouldn't have Galaxy until Tuesday...

Although I'm not too disappointed because I can wait for Galaxy, I repeat: they had better not pull this **** with Brawl. I want Brawl at midnight. PERIOD.

As for tonight, I could always check my Gamestop...they might be doing a midnight release, although I highly doubt it.

I do have one complaint about this game: as someone with an interest in astronomy, it would be nice if they didn't get it all backwards. Comets do not orbit galaxies, they orbit stars. Galaxies do not orbit a common center. The game map makes it seem like the "galaxies" are in fact planets in orbit around various stars within the overall galaxy which encompasses the entire game.

I'm gonna drive by GS later to see if they're doing a midnight release...I'm not too hopeful, tho. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't get it until Tuesday or Wednesday.

I'm starting to rethink pre-ordering Brawl, just for the simple fact that if they get enough pre-orders they'll do a midnight release.

I don't know if this differs between Gamestops/EB's but the one I go to will have the games on the release dates, but not typically until 2 or 3 in the afternoon (sometimes later if the truck takes longer).

Same here. Out of the 5 stores within 5 miles from here, you'd think one of them would have it tomorrow. Best Buy most likely will. I used to work there, and anybody who works at Best Buy knows that Monday's truck day.

Ah, truck. So many hours wasted going through DVDs, games and all the other worthless **** they sell.

GS didn't have Mario tonight, btw.

First of all, EB and Gamestop are the same company.

Second, Galaxy will be out on Tuesday at Gamestop. The game releases and ships on the 12th. Then it is next day shipped to stores and arrives around 12pm on the 13th.

Thirdly, Gamestop has no plans for a midnight release for Brawl at this time. If the company gets a ton of reserves, then they will.

Fourthly, I have heard that Brawl will probably be the only game that will have better music than Galaxy. I mean, the amount of composers working on Brawl to remaster the theme songs as well as original peices is just insane. Imagine 3 - 4 songs for every Nintendo and 3rd party character in the game. That is a TON of music.

My brother's friend got me the game last night; he then gave me today morning when I dropped my bro to school.

I reaaallly want to skip college to play galaxy...but I have an assignment due this afternoon which I will have to finish here :/

After doing a few google searches, I've found nothing but bad news, though.

Seems just about all the stores are selling it on Tuesday and not Monday. That really sucks because Nintendo has been advertising the 12th. It's too late for me to call some stores and ask but I'm almost sure it won't be an exception for the stores near here.

Even though some Best Buys have broken the street date for SMG, I'm skeptical about whether or not they'll have it tomorrow. If they really did receive their SMG copies a week early then they should have some tomorrow. It IS the actual date it's supposed to be out, anyway.

Hopefully I can get lucky and find a store that actually has it tomorrow. If not, then Tuesday is going to be the longest school day of my life.

i Think brawls will be a bigger hit than glaxy just bec smash has a larger community of players and smash is also a multi-player game while glaxy isnt.
