Lol, if I were you, I'd start with any Zelda game other than Skyward Sword. IMO, It wasn't that good of an experience compared to the N64 ones and the Gamecube ones. Oot and Windwaker are my favs.

Or you can play the top down zelda games. You cant go wrong with those. ALttP is too good.

Unless you just don't like adventure games, there's nothing I find wrong with them other than being quite easy.

Even though I couldn't read (I was only 3 or 4), I was still decent at video games when I was little. I got up to the castle courtyard without understanding a thing which is an accomplishment in my book. Of course I had to stop there because I didn't know I was supposed to sneak past the guards and not roll everywhere like I usually do.

My first LoZ experience was Link's Awakening.. didn't get very far because I didn't have the cognitive ability to figure out where I was supposed to go next. I got through I think the beach, the woods, but couldn't make it to the first dungeon. So I just ran around everywhere else until I was older and able to understand where I was supposed to go and what I was supposed to do.

I always think about how I handle things in videogames now and look back on how I was when I was very young.. like with Super Mario 64 and Pokemon Silver(my first Pokemon game). It's fascinating to think how we improve our thinking with age and experience..

Spyro, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.

My favorite was Ripto's Rage though! I got a 100% on that.

I couldn't stop playing it. Got that super fire blast technique and everything. It was awesome.

Year of the dragon is my favorite of course
But I do have the original as well, it seems so short though.
