40A20008 989F001C
60000000 00000000

Thanks.
you need a code, instead of that first one, for a stage mod that has a stage sub ID. ill look for it, i've seen it before, but awhile ago.

EDIT: although i don't know what that last code does, so maybe you can change something with that to get it to work?

Honestly, I have no idea. The only instructions were the one I gave you. Do you need the first code on? I actually never used these codes so I'll test them out when I get my Wii back (stupid parents).

Btw, I didn't get 666th post on purpose. I though I was 665th and was about to laugh at the next poster.

Will this work for replacing the Online Practice Stage? Like all 5 target stages? How can I find the values too. I'm using this code........

Wi-Fi Waiting Room Replacement
4A000000 90180F3A
38000000 FF000037
10000001 00000020
E0000000 80008000
*replace XX with stage ID

im pretty sure that you can't use that code for it, although i haven't really messed with trying to get the other target tests. what i do know is that you need this:

Code:
Target Smash levels 2-5 [spunit262]
06949E84 00000008
8804001C 60000000
This code make it possible to access levels 2-5, you still need to use another code to select them.
and i think you need to use a code that has a XX for the stage ID and a YY for the stage sub ID so you can pick which level you want.

anyway, i got my own question. i'm looking for a code that lets you start brawls with only one player. i thought i saw one before but i never saved it and now i can't find it. haaaaaaaaaalp meeeeeeeee

is there any way to make it so recording ignores the Z button?
i just tried to do a match like you were doing, it doesn't work at all. not only does it press the z button every frame, it doesn't even save the inputs on the frames you pressed them on. ex. start a match, as soon as go appears, press start to freeze it. then wait about a minute (without advancing frames or anything, just with the game frozen), then press and hold forward for about 10 seconds and advance the frame. then finish the match however (unfreeze it if you want), and when you watch the replay even though it isnt frozen in the replay your character still waits about a minute without doing anything and then walks forward for 10 seconds or however long you held it.

it sucks. we wont be able to make vids like this.

EDIT: and i was getting all excited to make a zero mercy for brawl lol. i dunno if its possible to freeze the frame counter or whatever it is that runs during the match, that saves the inputs on those frames for replays and such. if so then this would be fixed.

Can others see your replay if its over 3 mins if they dont have the hack, I heard it will make the replay desync and act gay?

It does. I've had the replay act completely different and one froze. It didn't freeze the game, but the timer and characters stopped moving. If you paused, you can control the camara and exit. But this happens even with the code on. If it works fine without the code on, it will work fine on a non-modded Wii.

That only happens when it exceeds a certain time limit. I've so far noticed that it does it when it goes above 5:30 or 6 minutes tops. Then again, the matches had items on and four players so I don't know if that has ANY bearing. But, anything above 6 minutes will have those issues I believe, for whatever reason. Either that or it's completely random (which I think it is) because it probably also depends on the amount of characters on screen.

I don't know! All I know is, it doesn't **** up on other Wiis, it only will if it ****s up on your Wii. The only times I've noticed it **** up is with three to four player matches, I've never seen it happen much in 1v1s.

The replay was only around 3:25. It was an FFA on Wi-Fi that had a long Sudden Death. I guess this is why replays have a time limit.

i probably know why it froze. it desynched somewhere along the line, and then at the point that the game ended originally all the characters hadn't died yet in the replay, so the game never 'ended' there. however it freezes the game when a match ends (slow mo first), so your replay did that because that's what was saved in the replay, however it never saw that the characters died so it still thinks the game is going.

just a guess.

a couple questions:
1. is there a code that lets me change the waiting room platform with the sandbag into an actual stage?
2. where are the my music codes that let me use two inputs at once for a song (ei: A+B = snake eater)

Replace the Y's with one of the buttons below and replace the X's
with the song's number. Holding that button while a stage loads will
play that song.
0080 - No Button
0081 - D-Pad Left
0082 - D-Pad Right
0084 - D-Pad Down
0088 - D-Pad Up
0090 - Z
00A0 - R
00C0 - L
0180 - A
0280 - B
0480 - X
0880 - Y

With this code, holding left on the d-pad while a stage is loading will
play Bramble Blast. You can set a song to each button and even do
button combinations too like L+R or L+R+B+A.

I've got a problem.
I'm a PAL Player and wanted to create my own code list (hence the fact that not many ready gct files exist for pal).
My problem now is that i can't open "codemgr.exe". It simply does nothing when I doubleclick it. If I understood correctly, i need this program in order to convert the .txt into a .gct.

So what to do?

edit: Thank you very much, it actually works. Nice weekend!

Hi, I just looked for a code to get the GC Dpad act as analog but didn't find anything. (I own the jp version of the game, but I would switch to another one if that's what it takes to get it to work)

on the same note, would there be a code to have "guard" set to Y or X ?

some help would be very appreciated, thanks in advance.

Well, since you have the JP version, I dunno how to help.
Although it is already possible to change X/Y to shield without hacks or anything.
There is a Unlimited Control Editor, but that's for NTSC. Here it is:

hey thank you so much !
I'll get my hands on the us version then I guess.
just to be clear I can change analog controls to digital pad in the option menu with that ? or how ?

any ideas on how to "convert" that to the jp or pal version of the game ? would require an sdgecko and looking for what ?

thanks again :)

Edit: ouais I just tried it, the patch go applied while Booting GeckoOS...it's just I don't get what it does or how to use it... true, you can set any buttons you want to any buttons in the game without codes (at least with gc controller)...but what about analog to Dpad ?

I guess you can't change the dpad to move at all.

The control stick doesn't even have a changeable option, it's set to move, will stay as move, and nothing else can. Sorry.....

ho okay, thanks for the clarification.
the code I'm looking for might me a lot more complicated than that then, I guess all dpad press would have too be intercepted and then converted to the game analog directions syntax :\

Is there a code to get your name tag in replays. So when I watch a replay it doesn't just say P1 or P2?

On todo list, low priority

Impossible, the game doesn't save name in replays. It might be possible to make a code to store the names in the reply (if there's enough free space) and recalls them, but that would only work with replay recorded with the code on.

So, umm, I've been trying to get the custom CSS code to work (also have the seperate Zelda/Sheik and Pokemon Codes) but whenever I go into either Gecko OS or Ocarina it just stays at a black screen once it tries to start the game. Like the loading screen without the little smash symbol/"loading" text

Code:

Oh, and if it's possible to choose how the CSS is organized, I came up with this:
Mario----Luigi--------Yoshi------Wario-----Peach---Bowser--DK---------Diddy --Samus----ZSS
Pikachu--Jiggles-----Lucario----Squirtle--Ivysaur--Chariza--PKMN T.--Kirby---Triple D---Meta
Link ------Toon Link--Zelda------Sheik-----Ganon---Ness-----Lucas-----Fox-----Falco-----Wolf
Marth----Ike---------C. Falcon--G&W------R.O.B.----Pit-------Ice C.-----Olimar--Snake----Sonic

Hope it can help :) but I assume you can't choose how they are organized...

EDIT!!!:
So, I tried to make the CSS above, and this is the code I got:
Code:
Custom CSS [spunit262 + Shadic]
0668310C 00000030
387E006C 3B600000
3C808068 38840DE0
7CBB20AE 7CA50775
41800014 94A30004
3B7B0001 2C1B0032
4180FFE8 48000038
04690338 48000068
066900d8 00000008
2c170028 41820168
02680DE0 0022FFFF
06680DE0 000000[b]40[/b]

140B1907 13251121
0A122217 10182627
40 characters...
and then after that is all the character's codes in the order from left to right up to down like the first part of my post. Did I do it right?
