operation demo disc

OK people... If anyone goes to that demo in LA, take a team with you. When the moment is just right, STEAL ONE OF THOSE DISCS! Run like you've never run before! This is in the name of the smash community!!! DO IT FOR US! REVEAL EVERYTHING WE HAVE SOUGHT TO REVEAL!!

Chances are, they made new ones just for the demo.
Besides, it's not like they're going to fill in the rest of the demo with the missing things when they create the game. Of course some work went into creating the demo, and with it, bigger character select boxes.

Even though I'm not going to E for All, I'm hoping they have a playable demo there.
We'd have so much answered for us, what with all of the smashboards smashers that live in LA/Cali that could be going.

:[ And then I pray for demos available at Nintendo World or any local Gamestop.

It'd be really sad if people from SmashBoards were to actually plan an attack on the E4All to get the Demo Wii and take it home XD

I'd be all for it though.

What interests me the most is that we'll probably learn the full moveset of Pit, Diddy and Ike, and learn what Meta Knights actually do. We might also get the latter two's final smashes.

Not to mention hilarious. If I didn't live in Florida, I'd be in on it for the pure awesomeness that would come from it. And the fun news stories.

Well, I wasn't joking. Some group has to get together and make a Mission Impossible-esque plan to get that Wii/disc.

Try taking the whole TV setup as a group, then using it as a battering ram.

Nintendo Demo Theft leads to Brawl
Six teens were arrested yesterday, for attempting to steal the demo version of the upcoming Wii game: Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In trying to escape using the demo stand as a battering ram, they were trapped by security, and had to deal with a Brawl of their own. One of the perpetrators was quoted as saying, "We would have beaten them, if I could wavedash IRL," but we have no idea what that means.

Awesome.

Anyway, is that really a random button? It seems a bit weird to have a random button on a demo, doesn't it?

Character Select Screen Response

The character select screen looks pretty cool. I would say that the white box is a random stage select or a muscic state selecter. Even though in melee all you had to do for random select was click outside the box. What do you guys think the white box is???

remeber its a demo, they want us to be suprised with some of the characters in the selection roster. they probably blocked a few out because they are finishing them up or something.

PEOPLE got their hands on Brawl and we still don't know about Wavedashing yet.

Um, it seems there were more demos out for ssbm, since I clearly remember playing with sheik on a ssbm demo at some booth over the whole summer and my buddy played peach. <_> So this brawl demo might be the first one released, but there might come another one later which is more polished and more characters added and other stuff.

There was. I remember playing the demo that was part of a demo disc that contained other games as well. It had all the pre-unlocked characters. There were no hidden characters available in that demo.

the thing about this picture that has me curious is that it looks like u can only fit 30 characters with how big the character selection icons are relative to the space given???? and there is no way there is only going to be 30 characters

I can't make out who it is, but I made out the number above the spell bubble thing which is curious.

I'm hoping, from now until E for All, that Sakurai just gives us updates on the little things like these that were revealed in the trailer.

I can potentially go to E for all, it is in the general vicinity of where i live. The demo content does affect me, in that it might determine whether I decide to go to E for All or not.

don't know if anyone mentioned this but they probably didn't put Kirby on because they didn't want to show all the Kirby Hats
