We could use more music by Ennio Morricone. He's know for his amazing Western soundtracks. Rapax did one of the songs from "Once Upon a Time in the West," but there are plenty of others.

An few obvious ones would be:
A Fistful of Dollars Theme:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILB0yIn6jBg&feature=related

Good Bad & the Ugly Theme
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hYV-JSjpyU

And Bionic Sonic, that song is amazing. Bwaahahaha. I'll definitely be putting it as Menu music as well.
Ah quite right, A fistful of dollars does have an excellent theme.

Added to the Phoenix Wright soundtrack page

Anyway, I finally switched to using BrawlBox and it made my BRSTMs sound a lot clearer without the static so I redid half of my catalog so far. If there's still a lot of static, let me know. Some I was able to replace on the soundtrack pages but others are on the OP.

So here's the following that needs to be replaced on the OP:
Final Fantasy X - Enemy Attack (Boss Battle) By 112 - DEMO
Final Fantasy X-2 - Real Emotion (ENG Version) By 112 - DEMO
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - Annual Festival By 112 - DEMO
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - Departure By 112 - DEMO
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - Magi is Everything By 112 - DEMO
F-Zero X - Title BGM (Guitar Arrangement) By 112 - DEMO
Kirby 64: Crystal Shards - Boss Theme By 112 - DEMO
Kirby 64: Crystal Shards - Rock Star By 112 - DEMO
Kirby 64: Crystal Shards - Shiver Star By 112 - DEMO
Mega Man 2 - Dr. Wily Techno By 112 - DEMO
Mega Man Network Transmission - Battle with Zero By 112- DEMO
Melty Blood: Act Cadenza - Stray Cat (Len's Theme) By 112 - DEMO
Persona 4 - The Almighty By 112 - DEMO
Persona 4 - Reach Out to the Truth By 112 - DEMO
Soul Calibur II - Link's Theme By 112 - DEMO
Tekken 4 - Kitsch (Beach Stage) By 112 - DEMO
Tekken 5 - Moonlit Wilderness By 112 - DEMO
Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection - Hall of Fate By 112 - DEMO
Tekken 6 - Electric Fountain By 112 - DEMO
Tekken 6 - Hidden Retreat By 112 - DEMO
Tekken Tag Tournament - Xiayou's Stage By 112 - DEMO

They're all in the Video Game section. I'll update this post along the way

Awesome darksage! Now I can have proper standoff with my opponent.
One last request (haha, I'm such a hypocrite with the no requests rule).

Yohoho, thanks again.

Segtendo asked for inspiration. The BRSTM makers ask for music to do here it's fine to throw out suggestions, but this thread is not treated like the request thread (your suggestion can be ignored with no hard feelings). The next time one of our brstm makers asked for "inspiration," feel free to share some sweet music, but don't just throw out requests blindly.

Quick tip for those of you getting your music by ripping it off Youtube videos. If the video doesn't have options for 480p play, put &fmt=18 at the end of the URL. This forces the video into 480p play, and can significantly increasing the quality of the music. Youtubes new player tends to play things in higher quality than before, but this is still nice to know just in case.

My theory was correct - the Metroid Prime 2 title theme IS rippable from the Metroid Prime Trilogy disc! Because of this, I've made probably the highest quality BRSTM available of this song.

However, since the song has totally awesome dynamic range and Brawl does not, it sounds quite a bit quieter than other songs. Therefore, I've made both an audiophile version (volume levels untouched) and a sane volume version (has some evil dynamic range compression).

Wow that's crazy Nintendo Maniac 64! Good work. I'll probably stick with the audiophile version.

darksamus, if you're looking for Mario music, you should definitely check out XOC's takes on the Super Mario World soundtrack. It's got a bit of the "garage band" sound to it, but is entertaining.

I've got a few Metroid remixes to suggest, but it seems they're really hard to find on the internet. I'll eventually upload them on Youtube for you.

CyberGlitch, PLEASE don't just list only one, otherwise I'll probably get complaints that it's too quiet. Essentially it's the same thing that happened with my "Slider" BRSTM from Super Mario 64, and both versions of that are listed.

And being that this kind of stuff is practically natural for me, I gotta ask - what makes it crazy? Ripping and exporting game audio data is very easy... just requires dumping said game, extracting the files via Dolphin, and exporting to WAV via vgmstream. That's it, really.

The extent that you'd go to get highest quality music for a soundtrack already done is commendable, whether it's easy for you or not. As for me saying I was going to use the high fidelity version, I was just talking about personal use. Both will be listed.

Well, I AM an audiophile, it's what we do. :p

But at least in terms of that song, the issue was that you actually couldn't rip the audio data for that song from the GameCube Metroid Prime 2, which is why I had to do it from Metroid Prime Trilogy. Also, since there was no OST for Prime 2, that means all other BRSTMs for the title theme had to come from actual recordings and not direct data rips, therefore mine would have to be the highest quality by default.

And as for the soundtrack being complete, you DO realize the soundtracks for Metroid Prime 2 and 3 are missing from the first post, right? (They're still in the original first topic and the links work too). And my F-Zero GX Like a Snake (Port Town) (Sane Volume ver.) BRSTM has disappeared from the from post too

Anyway, for other things, I'm just an absolute sucker for future-proofing. It annoys me when things COULD have been better, but it wasn't just because it was deemed not important or something. Why the heck should you NOT try to make something the best it can be? Not only that, but if you make something be the best it can possibly be, then you cover the whole "caring" spectrum - that is, a non-audiophile won't complain about higher quality, they may not even notice it; but those that do care and notice will be satisfied as well.

I guess it all boils down to the fact that I'm kuutsundere (kuudere-tsundere hybrid) - deep down inside, I just care that much about other people, even if it requires extra work for a small population. (maybe I myself have been on the short end of the stick one too many times? Being a kuutsundere isn't particularly beneficial in life, especially when that's supposed to really be a female personality and I'm a straight male)

Some vidya game tunes. Yay Megaman 7.

World of Goo - World of Goo Beginning (Custom Edit) By Zealous98 - DEMO

zhengman777's Red Carpet Extend-o-matic link doesn't work. I don't know how he made his, but for convenience and sportsmanship (and with a little ego) I made a loop similar to what plays in-game as well as a loop of the full version.
World of Goo Beginning was cut to sound more similar to the intro screen/main menu. Also, no cheering goo voices.

and a couple others.

Nightwish - Wishmaster By Zealous98 - DEMO
Boots Randolph - Yakety Sax (Short Version) By Zealous98 - DEMO

That's a ~1 minute long version of Yakety Sax (from the YTMND soundtrack). Not the full thing, but still has the same effect and saves some card space.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I listened to 112's Electric Fountain and Hidden Retreat, but both of them were of, frankly.. kinda ****ty quality. They didn't sound crisp at all. Can someone verify this?

You sure are not wrong. As mentioned before, I had static in the majority of my BRSTMs so right now, I'm redoing most, if not all of them, to make them sound cleaner. I have updated BRSTMs in the previous page. I'm not sure if they're better unless people tell me.

Oh and added another link to my previous post

Someone give me the title of God Emperor of Man for looping this:

SSFII Turbo HD Remix Flying Heaven (Fei Long Stage) - OverClocked Remix By Gallade64 - DEMO

Also I request that these four brstms I made be removed:

IOSYS Cirno's Perfect Math Class By Gallade64
IOSYS Chirumiru Cirno By Gallade64
IOSYS Stops at the affected area and immediately dissolves ~ Lunatic Udongein (AKA: Overdrive) By Gallade64
IOSYS Marisa Stole the Precious Thing By Gallade64

Reason: They were edited with Audacity and a basic version of Androu1's tool and therefore they are outdated and they suck.
