Thanks for the update. Anyhow, since TUK has been hiding in his shell since the second copyright issue, I've put the details to what we're looking for in my signature so that the fans can still see what we're trying to find to restore the site. Have a look when you get the chance.

Also, will someone link me to how signatures work? I'm still learning about how they work.

You just have to click the "Show Signature" square before sending your reply. But even then I always have trouble with that : sometimes it shows up, other times it doesn't.

@Flame Hyenard

The reason for asking,..., it's not showing up even with the "show your signature" button selected. Anything else I should know?

Flame, do you have your Hard Corps Uprising BRSTMs? I wanna finish up be rest, and upload them after I finish Guilty Gear and the rest of Harmony of Despair.

I have a new idea of how to transport my videos: using my iPod nano.

It has over 7 GB of free space on it, so I can fit games I normally couldn't :p

Sadly I don't havr them anymore, I only backed up the most important files when my former laptop broke up. You can ask TUK if he has the backup of the OST.

It's alright. I'll just go through the whole thing. :p

I also have the Kirby's RTD brstms. I'll tag them and get started on uploading the rest tomorrow.

Nice. I was gonna try to get Vegeta's Super Saiyan theme up for the 9001st video, but I'm not gonna upload anything from any TV shows. Maybe the Legacy of Goku 2 version. :p

8871 visible videos. Some of the stuff is private, failed uploading, or something else.

Eh, screw it being the 9001st video. I'll do it anytime after we pass 9000.

Got said videos up.
We're closing in on 9000.

As of this post, we have 8948 videos up.
If I can, I'll try to get either Sonic Pinball Party or Thunder Force IV up tomorrow.

I think the last Thunder Force IV video I upload will be number 9001. :p

9021 actually...?

Also, would it be safe to upload Kid Icarus: Uprising music to YouTube? I have seven KIU songs which I wish to BRSTMify...

I don't know, so why not add disclaimers that we don't own the music and that it's property of Nintendo just to be extra careful?

Now it shows my signature this time. Guess it was by chance this time.

For god's ****ing sake....

How do you get the ****ing BRSTM to YouTube to work?

I ask for 15 minutes, yet it just gives me some "2 loops + 10 seconds".

I typed in
'15'
'15 minutes'
'15.00'
'15:00'

I even typed in '900' just for the sake of it.

What exactly do you type? All I get is a video lasting about 2:23.

Also I'm confused... when I do that, it just copies the BRSTM along with an 'avi' and 'bat' file, in the 'looped' folder.

When and how does the video get uploaded?

Try downloading the external dlls again for vgmstream, and put them in the folder. I'm in IRC btw, so we can troubleshoot in there. :p

There's another BAT file in the looped folder. Same with notlooped.

I typed "15"

I'll record a video of my output. It'll be slow though lol.

Uploaded a private video on the channel of my conversion process. It should take around 80 seconds on a good computer, or at least that's how long it takes on my school computers. :p

When I say 3.28 GB, I don't mean make a single RAR.
Do I HAVE to actually put in 3,521,873,183 in order to get the RAR to be split into parts of 3,521,873,183 bytes (3.28 GB) each?

If I type in 200 MB, it works... I don't have to put in something like 204,800 kB or whatever bytes...

IN short, 2 hours of wasted ****ing time...

The files I currently have in the same folder as those bat files are:

cmd.exe
ffmpeg.exe
image.png
lame.exe
lame_enc.dll
libg7221_decode.dll
libmpg123-0.dll
libogg-1.1.3.COPYING
libvorbis.dll
libvorbis-1.2.0.COPYING
vgmstream.exe

Also, all those dll files, as well as vgmstream.exe are ALSO in "Converted".

Are there supposed to be duplicates, of these files, one in the same folder as the batch files, and another in the "Converted" folder?

Also, I'm currently re-RARing the BRSTMs ... at precisely 3.28 GB per part.

It's currently at 87% compression -- and has over 5 hours left until completion.

Well there are 65.6 GB worth of files.

Let's just say, in the local UK time that I am in, it's 4:09 pm, so hopefully they'll be done by 10:00 pm.

I guess I forgot to take those out, but it shouldn't make any difference. When type "15," do you press enter right after? <---

Or do you add spaces?

Also, can you run the bat through the cmd.exe and give me the output up to the "samples to play" from vgmstream?

You have an old version of vgmstream in there. You have to use the one that I included in BRSTM to YouTube v1.rar, so that it outputs the sample rate, then it should work.

Did your antivirus software remove the original one in there?

I'm not much of an expert here, but I think I might follow along, just in case I make any brstms and decide to have youtube videos for them (or at least help you with making youtube videos for them).

I downloaded the whole RAR file.
The "vgmstream.exe" file that you included was removed by my anti-virus software.
I restored THIS exact file. The vgmstream that you gave me is from October 6, 2011.

Just for the record, the version of vgmstream.exe that I have installed on Winamp is even older... r946 July 19, 2011.

The point is, that the version from October 6, 2011 that I have in the BRSTMtoYouTube folder, IS the one that you gave me.

I'm confused -- what version SHOULD I have in the folder where the batch files (etc) are?

All I know is that...

I have revision 964 on Winamp (released July 19, 2011)

You have revision 967 in the folder (released August 20, 2011).

I'm not the one with an out-dated vgmstream in the folder, it's you. I never added anything. I simply 'restored' the vgmstream.exe that was removed.

Obviously you included an August 20, 2011 version.
r973 is the latest version, from January 2012.

Seriously I don't get it... how the **** can I have an out-dated version, if I have the one that YOU put in the freaking folders?

Yes, the anti-virus removed the ORIGINAL one.
But I RESTORED the ORIGINAL one.

I didn't "copy another vgmstream.exe from my PC and put it in the folder" or something.

It'll still be called r973, but I compiled it last week. I'll go on my computer and upload the custom version I made, that I did put in the RAR.
