Ah. Though if I ever did a nuzlucke which I'm probably never going to do.. that's one rule I will always ignore.. Luck has too much of an impact in Pokemon for that rule to be followed.. just looking at my competitive battles is enough to justify why luck ruins competitive gameplay and noncompetitive gameplay to an extent..

Onix is so sad. I always loved this Pokémon growing up. It just looked so intimidating and powerful, not to mention I always thought snake-like creatures were awesome.

But then I matured and learned how awful its stats are. It's only good stat is its base 160 Defense, but even that is undermined by its low base 35 HP. Its base 70 Speed was also OK for a Rock/Ground type, too... It was just so bad everywhere else, which sucked. I just thought that this Pokémon had quite a bit of potential in Gen 1... But then again I guess they made its low stats intentional for Steelix?
