The Diddy match was pretty even, you were playing it smart the whole time (except maybe last beginning of last stock you went up to 70% last stock quite fast, but you made up for it after that. It was like only 1 more fsmash and you would've won, lol.) Good stuff.

Match 5 with diddy kong, to be honest first 30 secs you were doing pretty solid IMO. Sometime's its actually hard to distungish between the auto pilot sydrome disease Diddys and the smart diddys. Try doing OOS upb when they throw a nanaer and predict a dash attack. That diddy really used the Dtilt well tho.

on 5:00 I had a bad feeling that Diddy would start getting even more aggessive since 3/4's of the building was out and it was flat, so it started to look in diddy's favor but you still handle it solidly.

5:01 - 6:00 = I can tell you lost the momentum of the match and possibly got desperate for the ko (?). Iunno it happens >.< Hard to get them kos lol.

6:36 = upthrow, jab lock to fsmash TOO GOOD.

6:41 actually if you grabbed that banana, instead of tripping you could have ended the game right there IMO. If you had the banana in your hand, you could have either lay it down there, fludd/cape his side b and a spike.

But either way you did pretty solid against Diddy considering how much you hate the match up lol.

I don't know why you thought the Diddy Kong was a much harder match-up than that...you had him going then you destroyed the 3rd part of the mansion and he took control...it basically came down to the last hit you just rolled the wrong way at the end

Its frustrating. That match lasted like 7 minutes man, i lost my patience. Diddy Kong is just....ugh

Good games... Yeah, Diddy Kong can be frustrating and you probably already know this but you have to be patient against Diddy Kong. His friggin Banana peels are annoying.

Nice Jab-lock BTW. I thought you were pretty even with that Diddy Kong.

No playntrade at illinois.....I was at the tourney and saw these matches.

Chompy is really good. I remember playing him in the 3rd round. I almost caught him off gaurd with Link. (took 1 of 3)

Stick with ROB next time Box7. Especially at LM. spamm through those pillars with lasers. Chompy has difficulty dealing with hardcore spammers. It's just counters his style.

By they way. Your mario was ****. You dropped my jaw at the tourney. I wanted to play you but OMG the weather. Soooooooo much snow. I just had to get back.

Unfortunatly no. I'm back at Indiana University again. Worst of all there are like no competitive people at college. I mean its freakin college and there are no competitive gamers O_O

Next time I can come in might be spring break. You better be there!!!!

You guys should definitely come to the one in Edwardsville that he's hosting next month though, I don't know if Ill be there but Legan usually goes and I would love to see Link vs Mario matches, they would be too good.

That's an awesome Mario Bo, but I have question: WHY DID YOU CP LM AGAINST DIDDY?! LM is Diddy's best stage! You're lucky your opponent didn't seem to know it...

Also, I notice your Peach doesn't seem to Utilt at all. Is there a reason for this? (That's not sarcasm. I just started playing Peach and was wondering if there's a reason not to use that move, or if your playstyle is such that you just end up not using it.)

I believe I may be able to answer this, due to the only other pro-level person in my town maining Peach at the moment. (He changes mains like every 2 weeks, I laugh at him.)

Anyway, he seems to use Utilt when I'm around 100-135% or so, since most of his kill moves(besides the golf club, IF he can get it) aren't able to kill me around that time. Utilt is definantly one of peach's better kill moves if you can lure your opponent into airdodging early, or stun them with a turnip.

But, that's just my opinion.

However, Bo might have other reasons for not using the Utilt, I'll let him talk to you about that.

Gotcha. I pretty much never saw it and was wondering if I missed something. As you said, it seems like a great kill move to me.

Maybe you're thinking of uSmash. Utilt is one of Peach's most reliable damage dealers since it comes out so fast and does plenty of damage. Peaches don't spam either of the up moves (since we tend to use aerials, jabs, and ftilts from time to time) unless they're sure the moves can hit.

I was talking about Utilt, since I know it's a alright kill move when used at a high percentage. Sweetspotted Usmash kills at even lower percents, though. I don't really know the exact percentages... because I've never mained Peach (I do play her from time to time though). But I know one thing for sure, turnips sometimes scare the *insert awesome chain of curse words here* out of me.

-And then I whip out the cape.
