Hmmm. Okay. If your third ability was a vig kill or a standard cop investigation, I was going to call so many shenanigans. Combined with the meta of me literally telling Mentos to include Shepard as a JoaT like a year ago, which you could not possible know, I buy your claim. That only helps a bit, though. Recruiter in play on N1 and all that. Then there's that uuugly contradiction which, as of Nix's claim (forgot he already claimed lol2hoursofsleep my bad), has absolutely no resolution and yeeaahhhh. Blurgh.
Like your insurance policy though, the secrecy made sense. Sucks to ruin a bluff of that kind but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I like your rationale. Definitely makes sense. I think I'd be a more likely target in that event anyway, since my flip would lend credence to Tandora and remove a strong vig from the game, but a nonchalantly mentioned insurance policy is definitely a potent lightning rod.
Still want to shoot your face though for reasons already mentioned. Nothing personal. I actually like your play today -- your half, that is, Shaya was still all over the place.

Fair enough, Scumdora isn't very likely anyway, so I'm not that worried, I'll take getting shot in the face like a man.
My hope was that mad scummy or nix's flip would resolve the contradiction, keep in mind I said that I attempted to track edrees and got OS instead before gheb claimed the masonry. That alone suggested a wonky misinformation role.
And yea, definately keep talking, I wanna hear more from Tandora too, just in case she gets killed instead.

I've paraphrased my ability to as best as I can. Investigating a player gives me a guilty or innocent verdict. Nothing more specific than that.
I do find it suspicious Nix and MS are VT when every one else had an ability. Usually VTs outnumber the PRs, right?

And Mad Scummy hasn't claimed his character, has he? At this point I'm guessing it's because his character is like, undeniably bad. I can't speak to the character Cheez flipped, but Sovereign was literally the Bringer of Death in Mass Effect... the biggest and baddest of Big Bads, he was gonna personally exterminate the human race (and all other intelligent races in existence at the time). Pretty clear cut, since I think the town flips so far have all been good guys?

Edrees, while you're correct in that there are vanilla townies, at this point even if we believe every vanilla claim, 2/3rds of the game isn't vanilla and only a 5th is shown to be vanilla, and if we discount the basically confirmed scum, that's 4/15 at most.
As such, there's good reason to be distrust vanilla claims.
@EE: The archdemon is pretty much the same, he's from dragon age and is pretty much the bringer of the apocolypse, but they have to have a safe-claim right?

I can't really think of anything else. I guess if Mad Scummy flips town (won't happen) vig should vig gheb instead? Just a precaution, but probably won't be necessary.
Currently decided night actions: I am going to shoot SC, Tandora is going to cop Nix.
A supplement I'd like to strongly suggest: Gheb, you should voteblock Soviet Coffee if (and probably when) MS flips scum. My rationale for this is that it's a double coverage for the person presently tangled in a contradiction.
I want to break this down step by step to make sure we're not missing anything.

Gamewise, I think we've pretty thoroughly covered our bases.
Due to family issues I may be on V/LA, but hopefully night phase will cover most of my absence.

Why don't we just hold off on hammering since we have so much time? That + night phase would easily evaporate that V/LA.
I don't think we will learn anything new before Mad Scummy's flip and the night action results. I can claim my name if you want though but that's pretty much the only thing that's left to be claimed and it's not major.
Well, I said to hold off on hammering so that Tandora wouldn't be V/LA for part of D5. Though I guess she might be dead.

The town was much smaller now after the two deaths the night before. Another one of them claimed to have been shot but said he shrugged it off like it was nothing, initiating conversation between the 7 town members still remaining. The day went on and more and more claims of power were made. By the end of the day everyone had made a case about who they were and what they had done. There was one that stood out though, as one of the townspeople claimed to have been brought into the fold by Duncan the night before he died, and claimed he died while trying to recruit another. The large number of claims shot town’s conversation to new heights, and debate was had fiercely over a short period of the day. They decided on their course of action quite early, and set out to get rid of their choice.
“But, guys, I’m just a townie, if he died while trying to be friends with me I don’t know what could have caused it!” The figure of Mad Scummy said.
However, town didn’t buy his excuses at all. They were confident in their choice, and moved in on him. As he backed up, cornered, a shining red beam shot forth from a hilt in his hand, and he raised his free hand at the town.
“You’ll never take me! I’ll kill you all first!” He exclaimed, flailing his lightsaber wildly. However, he didn’t expect the sheer strength of those left in the town. His abilities with the force were worthless against the masses, and before long his lightsaber lay broken on the ground. The town moved in, and gave him the final blow. As they looked down on his dead figure, they realized who he was. Mad Scummy(Darth Malak, Mafia Driver) had been slain!
Town was happy to have once again removed a danger to them, but their work was not done. The day moved into night and they settled in to sleep. Unfortunately, not everyone would join in that goal, as the evil was not fully defeated yet.
Night 4 begins! All actions are due by Monday, October 19th, at 11:00PM CST!

But there was still another missing. Someone who they had planned to have shot during the night. They began looking for him. Finally they found him, and no one knew what to say. He was exactly who he said he was. Soviet Coffee(Commander Shepard, Town Jack of all Trades) had been killed during the night!

I'm thinking on the meaning of our Driver flip, though.
And yeah, I heavily considered not shooting adum actually. But ultimately we had to blow away as much WIFOM as possible, and he was one of our nonclears.
I'm seeing two obvious scum POVs: Nix is going to get investigated by Tando, so he kills her; Ed knows Nix is going to get investigated by Tando, so he kills her for the sake of implication.
What still bothers me more than anything is the way that Nix was brought up in the eleventh hour for a lynch by viable mafiat lynches. I don't understand why they'd do that.

according to SC, he attempted to track EP but tracked OS instead....this is obviously due to the driver who switched EP And OS as night targets.....SC said that OS didn't visit anyone at night >_> Gheb said he was converted into the mason......thoughts? =P

EP is cleared...last investigation by Tandora before she died and this was after the supposed mafia recruiter died...and because I really do find the chances of both gordito and EE hitting the same target night 1 pretty slim, I find my suspicions on Gheb followed by EE >_> So yea....Gheb, mind answering how OS supposedly recruited you without having visited you?
