13 individuals wake up unexpectedly inside the confines of, what looks like, an abandoned casino. They have no idea where they are, nor how they got there.

“We’re all dressed up” someone shouts amidst the confusion.

Looking around, everyone was dressed smartly in glitz and glam as if an expensive occasion had just passed.

“So, hm, we got trashed last night at some ball yeah” shouts another with a slight nervous stammer, “er, and, um, so I guess we all passed out here?”

There was an air of suspicion floating around as if the situation was far more complicated. An awkward silence settled as people stared around, clueless.

“Woah what the?” someone had just looked at the date on their watch and it read ??/??/4011. They immediately reached to check their phone and the date read exactly the same. “Can everyone check the date?”

Those who had devices checked the date and time. It was early morning, say around 6 o’clock. The date amongst them was universally the 30th of March 4011.

“We are NOT 2000 years older” someone spoke up “and I’m outta here. I have plans”. This individual started surveying the walls around the casino, looking for an exit. Their search was stopped suddenly by the presence of an obvious red button.

“I can’t control my need to press the red button… Someone distract me before I press it. I’m going to press it. Okay I’m getting closer. I’m right in front of the BIG RED BUTTON GAIZ. For real I’m going to press it. It‘s looking at me all cute and cuddly. My finger is on the button. Did you hear that? It’s ON the button. I’m pushing ON the button, is everyone cool with that? Pressing, pressing, and pressing, and… pressed…”

They all looked up at the ceiling to see a strange 3x5 grid before them:

"Yeah um what is that then?" said the one who pressed the button, with a face almost as red.

"I don't know but it sure as hell looks pretty funny to look at"

They all decided to take time to discuss exactly what they should do.

The tension is rising. In the heat of a rather obscure moment, Day 1 begins:

but that was my point. the way you act is the way you play. if you act stupid, then you play stupid. if you act differently than you play, then you contradict yourself and get lynched.

it is very on topic. it pertains to how you play. if you play badly, then you will lose the game for your faction, or at the very least hurt your faction. you dont ever want to do that.
