KevM, I already said why - when you get bogged down in that kind of debate, nothing else can happen, the game can't move beyond it. Glyph has developed a pattern of using that strategy and blatantly ignoring questions and turning around going "haha, just joking!" to shut down discussion. Shutting down discussion is what scum wants to do.

This isn't rusty guillotine any more, and I really resent the implication that I played like an idiot in that game - I did what I was supposed to do and got the power roles outed, didn't I? And you're hardly one to talk about skimming after that little thing with vigging DH.

Oh ok, didn't know that. Usually I don't know much about parroting. I actually just have a null read on Smarg, just as I did in RG actually. (Even though I voted her, I don't even know why I voted her there)

But I have played with Glyph before, and he hasn't been this anti-town. He refuses to answer questions, and lies about meta use. "J is always scum" is meta use. He also says his reason for J being scum, is for his pregame play. He needs to explain further why it is, if he doesn't, no one will be convinced that J is scum. So, Glyph doesn't really care if J gets lynched, and is just directing attention to himself. A townie would care for someone's lynch, and the correct one (I hope).

I have stated my stance on Glyph, but I'll say it again.

I don't feel as though his case on J is legit. He says he thinks you are town because you say you are town, yet thinks J is scum because he says he is town. He says he hasn't used meta, yet has said that "J is always scum".

My bad, I meant to say that your presence was diminishing. For example, when you said "I'm already not liking this game" you didn't say much else. That's what I didn't like, you'd say something and just let other people bicker. I like the Glyph vote though. And then you only come in to defend yourself.

Alright, read through 10 freaking pages late at night and I'm tired as hell. Like in my first post I want to ask again: who the **** is in what hydra? I read through half the game without even realizing X1 was in a hydra, and it might be because it's 4 AM, but I'm not even sure which hydra he's in. Same with Kuzi.
I have no issue with hydras, but it's a serious problem when people are posting outside of their hydra and I don't know who belongs to which.


Since I'm coming in late, I'll briefly post my thoughts on the players thus far. Not gonna elaborate too much, maybe tomorrow.

Pink Lemonade - Ran/Joey/July umm.. null for me right now :[ mainly because I can't remember anything notable they've said off the top of my head, or in my notes.
GandhiLaserGun - Who/who?
BSL - from what I remember, hasn't done much besides talking to Sqweedle early game. He looks alright though.
Asdioh - never this inactive, must have been busy drinking margaritas
KevinM - so town it hurts

Seikend - I think X1's wagon on him early game was just to get things started. He looks alright to me.
Smargaret - I found myself agreeing with her early posts, like the one where she disliked Aposl's "policy lynch" shenanigans. She doesn't look too bad to me overall.
J - scum, because he's J and because of the reasons Glyph said.

Sqweedle - who the hell can ever know with him. Vig fodder.

In terms of Glyph/J.

The only real issue I have with Glyph is his over-confidence on KevinM and J as town and scum respectively. Unfortunately I don't know how reliable his meta on them for self-claiming town, so I can't say if his confidence is justified.

It does make Glyph look scummy though.

He's not been contributing.


On his second post after confirming he votes me. He double posts and he states he gets scum vibes from me.

He then argues with BSL a bit about irrelevant things, self clears himself and BSL as town, argues some more semantics. His last five posts in particular provide nothing.


So after voting me as scum, what has he done? The only content I see from him is stating that I'm scum, because of this gem:

"usage of your words and how you are responding."

and just stating that he sees his exchange with BSL as TvT.



He does a lot of talking early on, provides no content, and isn't contributing when y'know, we actually have things to discuss.

If Ranmaru thinks of something, he posts it in a QT made for the Hydra, from then July can look at it and if its easily answered, not worth asking or completely stupid, then July does not post it. July posts in the thread and Ran posts in the QT, this will effectively filter the crap that sometimes comes from Ranmaru, but means that his scumhunting will still get through, in a more refined, understandable and concise form.

Well problem is that I'm much less active than Ran (especially recently thanks to Pokemon Black), and I trust him and Joey to scumhunt as I will, and I will add on to or clarify their stances as I feel necessary.

Everyone look at this point. Then look at #170. Then look at this one again.

I saw Smarg starting off strong then slowly descending into parroting J, and there are some statements like the ones that BSL drew into comparison that I don't understand. IGMEOY Smarg, but PL unanimously finds Glyph scummier.

Also, as for BSL, I really like the conflict between BSL and Glyph, and through their interactions BSL seems a lot more interested in scumhunting that Glyph.

Reaaaaally don't think he was lying about his experience, all of his posts have come across as honest to me. Seems to me like you're looking too far into this as a scum tell.



Hang on, so you tell X1 off for using a flawed test, and then go on to jump on the wagon that it was designed to propel? Yes he was fluff posting, but I don't think that makes him scum, especially this early into the game.

"Fun" is a pretty horrible justification, but I'll chalk that one up as a joke. Regardless I feel like your wagon could use some more steam.

J's #28 still feels hella off to me. Same with GLG's #15.
Iunno I guess I don't like when people come in and announce they're town. Btw GLG is probably scum since the person who looks most town seems to always be scum.

JTB and Sqweedle should post more information in a post/better, respectively.

Asdioh and Pink Lemonade should just post at all (though I've been just as inactive, so I don't really hold that against them. Day's just starting).

I want Smar or J lynched today. Seikend would be alright but I definitely prefer those two. I don't want an Aposl lynch.

The vote on Smarg seems half-hearted, and it was a very easy choice to vote Smarg and provide the bare minimum justification that he does here. The issues he has with J's pre-game play and the issues he raises with J from here are honestly very weak and provide him with a very easy way to throw suspicion onto someone while remaining very aloof about what exactly J is doing scummy. Here his reason for disliking J so far as advocating his lynch were directed by a single quote that just isn't substantial enough to be used against someone.

The J/Glyph conflict that occurred from here I also really liked, and BSL and J are very different players but it doesn't take either very long to challenge Glyph and provoke posts like this:

The first line is unnecessary to his rebuttal and is a really unsuccessful attempt to cast doubt unto J's points.

I don't understand why this is just defense, defense, defense, then suddenly a vote for J. Somewhere between Glyph's last post and this post J had to do something that Glyph thought made him a more worthy vote, and all I can see that he did was challenge the reasoning of Glyph's first post. I think J already said but it just reeks of OMGUS. I don't see that Glyph legitimately finds J scummy, I think he threw it out there as an accessory to the Smarg vote and then got called out on it and is making it up as he goes from what he gets out of J's response to him.


Other thoughts:
KevinM's points on Smarg are solid, I don't see what he sees with BSL and Glyph though. Glyph has been quite scummy and BSL has been decently active.
Aposl stood out immediately in pre-game and then suddenly faded away when stuff actually started happening, I want to hear more from him and want hard stances.
Seikend wagon took off crazy fast, initially it wasn't scummy though because the pressure against him was valid. However, unless he doesn't post/doesn't take hard stances I don't think his lynch is as valid as a Glyph/Smarg lynch.
Where is Sqweedle? He's posted a bit but he's been a non-presence the entire game, tbh can't remember a single thing he has said all game.

I'm finding the problem I'm having is not that people aren't posting, but that they are posting fluff, weak stances, or just blending in with everyone else. Lesson: people need to make stronger stances.
