First post into the game, and PJB mentions he is fine with Bombs claiming to narrow the nk pool down. Nothing else.
#126
Here PJB mentions Soup v Orbo is just bickering to get discussion started. He states Soup seems overly aggressive, and that it isn't telling to him.
Then Zen vs PJB discussing the semantics of 'discussion starting' as a town motive or a scum one.
#151
Here he explains to Soup how he messed up his own reaction test to Zen. He then asks him "What are you doing?". This question seems to imply he sees there is something up with Soup. Soup then denies my request to reply to me, and goes into TANTRUM mode.
#161
He Soup's first AHHHHH response is to PJB. This is something I missed and didn't pay attention to because of his yelling. This may be the reason for doing his charade, because he didn't actually explain 'what he was doing' he just said "Oh Orbo was interfering in his finest by asking "why zen soup?" and gave Zen no reason to respond.... Oh wait. This totally ignores PJB's first paragraph, you know, the part where Soup didn't explain him messing up his own reaction. No trace of PJB on this page.
#207
Here soup says "Yes not now but before" to my explanation of him messing up his own reaction. Again, it ignored the issue. I didn't know how hard Soup was trying to ignore the issue until later.
#271
Here Soup mentions that his lateposting, while not clean, shouldn't be ignored. I press on this because I don't think I was ignoring his response to me, and told him he should try to clear up what he said even though it wasn't clean.
#205
Wait what? When did PJB say he was uncertain of Soup? It seems Soup calls out PJB for being cautious this game, and then says he saw some of that in Hard Body (where PJB was town) and he pokes him into putting a stance on him. Interesting.
#272
PJB replies as if he HAS been uncertain of him, and says that he saw Soup 'act a fool' in both ME and Toonami, with different alignments, so he just had him as null. A good stance to hide behind.
It just seems here Soup was confronting his own Scum buddy as to why he was being so 'cautious' or rather uncommitting to Soup. Remember that PJB asked him "What are you doing?" Yet he NEVER responded, never even cleared that up?
#301
This shows that Soup was 'getting angry' even when I simply asked him to clarify his drunken post to me so I could get an understanding. He could not do so. He was forcing it for a reason, and from reading his interactions with PJB, I can now conclude that he was trying to distance from his partner's worry about his own actions. THAT is why he was acting a fool.
#344
PJB agrees with Nabe that Ryu's actions were questionable to him. But PJB was leaning more on it being unsettling, then Nabe just trying to gain substantiation. Interesting.
#359
PJB does his trademark 'defense'. I thought of him as town from that. Yet consider he was saying that "Or perhaps I'm concerned that RR shot soup without questioning him". Remember he wasn't being proactive about it, he only came to the agreement that it was unsettling when Nabe was asking for substantiation. It feels Nabe deserves the credit more than PJB, and I can see his little scum light go "Oh yeah I can push on Ryu for quick shooting GFsoup without even giving a reason!".
#377
Here PJB goes into a new direction. He is fine with Kantrip dying, or possibly shooting. Who? Badwolf, for having Kantrip as 'awesome' and a possible buddy. Keep in mind after his defense to Kantrip, he starts mentioning meta of Kantrip doing this. After, Ryu agrees and they come to an agreement. So it would be natural for PJB to go in Kantrip's way. Yet he can't just stick to Kantrip, no. He also has to implicate someone else. (Who turned out to be cop) And, I don't see any doubt in my mind of Badwolf being cop. He was indeed V/LA until Saturday, and Soup was shot Friday. His alibi is solid.
Stuff about pushing Badwolf/Kantrip
#469
He wants Kantrip to Shoot BW. Not the other way around. I think he forgot about priorities. (And how connections may not always be the kind of connection you thought it was)
#483
He has a strong suspicion that Kantrip can't shoot, so he wants him SHOOTING. Now consider this, while knowing that Kantrip was the MAFIA ASSASSIN. Telling?
#521
Not liking this post. He doesn't really go back to "Welp then Kantrip is the only scum" but still wants him shooting. He doesn't go back to "Ok someone else shoot him".
#614
Oh hey look. Now he's seriously suspecting Ryu. Lol. (For saying let's shoot the cop)
#644
More about suspecting Ryu for the same thing. He really wants Ryu. Don't like it.
#648
Notice even Ryu notices. PJB was ignoring his explanation about the quick shooting situation. He didn't care about that, he only cared to push his own fake scum read on Ryu. Ryu REALLY WAS trying to avoid that situation and even I was thinking of it, yet too lazy to do the numbers. PJB wasn't really thinking of the possible town intent of it, he was just jumping to conclusions.
PJB's ENTIRE PLAY IN A NUTSHELL:
D1
So let's look at PJB's entire play. Early game, he talked about bombs claiming, yet didn't comment on anything until asked to. He mentions that soup vs orbo is just bickering and isn't telling. He asks Soup "What are you doing?" and gives a good explanation of why Orbo didn't interfere. Yet Soup ignored this and went into a tantrum (to distance away from PJB's request). He then asks PJB why he feels he is so cautious as to his stance on him (Because PJB never committed to his request to Soup, he just left it alone and didn't clear it up). So that shows a connection between PJB and Soup. PJB only gives a stance on Soup when Soup pokes him. He posts about a red flag but a little too late, which is a null tell.
D2
He comes in to agree with nabe that Ryu is unsettling for shooting the GF without really giving much reason. Yet Nabe was just poking for substantiation, and PJB was leaning more on just being unsettled by it. Kantrip attacks PJB and Nabe for this, and PJB goes into his common defense mode. His defense doesn't hold water, though. It really only gives credit to Nabe, while PJB just only tagged along with Nabe started. PJB starts to scumread Kantrip on meta alone, and Ryu agrees. PJB moves onto Kantrip, but also Badwolf. He even mentions that Zen had him as scum, so this strengthened his read on the both of them being scum together. Now, he even believes Kantrip can't shoot, so he prefers Kantrip shooting Badwolf, and keeps going on about it. After Badwolf claims Cop, PJB is fine with Kantrip shooting others. Not the other way around. This seems to me he isn't really interested in Kantrip dying. (While he is the Assassin) Ryu then makes an assessment on the end game, and how we might not make it if we shoot our own VT. He states we might have to daykill Badwolf, and PJB takes dislike to that. He really finds it suspicious, and even tries to argue it as a master plan. This is the last straw. While Ryu explains why, PJB IGNORES the endgame situation. He didn't care about the possibility of mafia quick shooting, he only was trying to push his agenda on Ryu, to keep up his appearance.
PJB'S ACTIONS FROM ALL THIS:
- Interacted with Soup, and then dropped it until poked by Soup
- Opportunistically side with Nabe, even though Nabe wasn't scum reading Ryu, but asking for substantiation.
- Takes the opportunity to push on Kantrip AND Badwolf, to gain a mislynch from a scum lynch
- Wanted Kantrip to shoot because he knew he could shoot as Mafia Assassin, and never really pushes for Kantrip to be shot
- Tries to push suspicion on Ryu while ignoring his explanation
AND THAT RESTS MY CASE.
