Can someone translate the OP?
In the 2000s, almost every aspect of popular culture revolved around the styles of Gangsters, the Emo culture, or the "Preppy" culture. Here are many of the aspects I find intolerable from the 1990s and the 200ths
Sagging
This is something I find distasteful. I am positive it will fall outside the realms of popular culture soon enough.

"I <3 Boobies" Wristbands
I believe them to be in good taste. I question why teachers would remove them from students, but to each his own.

Males wearing Pink Clothing
I am not fond of the style because I am actually homophobic, a color, to me, defines my sexuality to a T.

"Emo" Hairstyles
As if borrowing some elements of the feminine culture, men have recently began using straightening irons to style their hair.
I believe that the Emo subculture dilutes our pre-existing thoughts regarding the Rock and Roll culture by encouraging the promotions of fake attitudes and superficial facades.

Rock and Roll
I make a generalization that holds no basis, then proceed to add capitalizations to my letters in order to emphasize a nonexistent points.

Silly Bandz
I make the generalization that, because an object has been popularized in the mainstream, it becomes uncool to regard said object as "hip".

Cartoons
I really like making baseless generalizations. It really defines my intelligence.

Shoelace Belts
Yet again, because something is commonly done, it becomes uncool.

Carrying a Comb
It's so uncool to be sanitary.

Colorful Wrist Bands
Alot of Feminine members of society wore them before the more immature members of our society began punishing them thoroughly.

Crocs
I cannot for the life of me get the name correct, but I'm free to criticize at will.

Heelies
Owning things that others own is yet again, uncool.

I would very much appreciate your own input! Thank you and god bless
.
Fixed.
Now gauging my eyeballs out.

I hate the "trend" where people assume all Anime is bad because of Pokemon and Yu-gi-oh, and all of that other Kodomomuke Anime.

Lol MEta-kirby thanks for the translation.

Ipods own the the music player market. Seen so many cheap design copies. My dad came up to me and said there was an Iphone for $100, obviously a fake but a surprisingly good one.
Imitation is the highest form of flattery I suppose

I only liked them when you were in a place with smooth floors, like a grocery store. They never worked too well on sidewalks.

Lightup shoes were the bomb when I was 6.

Then in middle school I remember those shoes that had the wheel in the back so if you leaned back on the balls of your feet you could skate around.

Hopefully no one will notice that...oh wait.

Hm, Suzumiya Haruhi No Yuuutsu wasn't that bad, you know. Then again, I don't think I've ever seen an Anime I didn't like more than most non-Japanese shows.

guys:
jokingly putting their pants to their mid theigh and putting a flat billed hat on with the sticker on it barley on your head slightly tipped sideways with a wife beater on *pink if they are being stupid because they dont know what their doing* and their boxers showing with a bling necklace vent glasses and having short hair with the front gelled up

girls:
colored skinny jeans or tights or maybe even short shorts with words on the butt with a shirt that shows alot of clevage alot of multi-colored wristbands lol with flats on *those shoes that are tiny and look like slippers* i think their ugly

thats the stereo typical 00's kid in my eyes ^_^ even though i dident dress like that its what they will think just like we think differentlly about most decades because we dident grow up with them lol

Lashing, you type horrendously.

I'll add to the trends by saying that I hate when people use the word "like" when it makes absolutely no sense to. Do you guys know what I mean?

For example:
"I have no, like, idea how the car, like, got there."

It makes me want to just walk away.

I don't get, like, anything you're talking about.

But in all seriousness I've said it and had it said to me too many times to be bothered by it. I think a lot of people even use it without realizing that they do. :p

Slang is basically just new jargon that the older generation don't approve of so they class it as "slang" and look down upon it.

Really it's just the evolution of language and people have never liked change. Personally I find slang interesting lol.

I think the use of internet slang (or jargon?) in real life is becoming more prevalent, particularly common acronyms such as "OMG." I also constantly hear people at my school saying things like "epic fail" and even "facepalm."

You actually hear people say "facepalm"? That's ridiculous.

I do hear "epic fail" a lot, though, I'll give you that. Every now and then I'll hear "OMG", too.

What else is there....Oh! Maybe someone said it, but "That's what she said" is said a whole lot where I am.

Edit - Never mind, Lashing pointed out that last one earlier.

Yet stuff like cool, man, bro, dude and whatnot have all survived.

A few do in fact stick.

Aren't those the things that died if you didn't take care of them? Lol, kids would bring them to school to keep them healthy; they ended up getting banned in some schools.

People still use "man" to refer to a higher authority occasionally. I think it's used mostly as a joke, but I hear people use it.

This generation didn't invent "yo mamma" jokes, I think those have just existed for a while now.

In regards to internet slang, you spend too much time on the internet and I think it sort of naturally works its way into your vocabulary. I'm ashamed to say it's worked its way into mine to an extent. I basically tend to pick up on the speaking habits of anyone I talk to/hear speak enough, and apparently that counts for writing as well.

Tamagotchis were awesome, by the way. I even still have a Tamagotchi game for Game Boy lying around somewhere, but I don't think I've played it in years because one day I got terrified of my Tamagotchi(s) dying and decided not to play it to prevent such an occurrence.

I love using internet slang on unsuspecting people.

Some nerd comes up to me, tells a lame *** joke, I just say ">_> Lol" and he walks away.
Simple. No laughing required ,no extra effort exerted. Still sexy.
