This is my personal opinion, but i've had the most fun playing Unreal tournament. It's run and gun playstyle makes me really happy, and another part of it is because i **** in it. Borderline is CoD MW2 and Halo 3, but let's hear about what everyone's opinion of the best (of the most fun) First Person Shooter you've played

Depends what we are describing as best. Why don't we ask every poster to fill in this list of categories that describes FPS games, and then we can determine which game is best at doing what.

Halo 1 pc will probably be my favorite fps forever. The first half of the single player (pre flood) was great, and I loved the multiplayer. I haven't found a fps yet that has as fun a multiplayer as H1.

for N64: Goldeneye or Perfect Dark?

I haven't really played much FPS's, but my favorite would be Goldeneye 007 on the Nintendo 64.

Halo: Combat Evolved
Halo 2

Star Wars: Jedi Outcast

I can't think of any others that have had such lasting effects on me. These are certainly not the best, just my favorites.

On a single player point of view,Half life 2 or Doom are my favourites

Multiplayer is probably Goldeneye or MW2.

Counter Strike is overrated IMO.
