I did for like the first month, then I got bored of it. Then I went back to it for the hell of it for another month, then realized how stupid the game is (or at least the competitive scene) so I gave up on it for good. The only reason why I'm even still here is because of Pokemon and the fact that I wasted 12 bucks to get premium and I do not intend to let that money go to waste

Well actually there's tons of people on this site that don't have anything to do with Smash anymore. That's the beauty of Smashboards I guess. I personally come here regularly to discuss Pokemon, NBA basketball, various console games and the Survivor tv series... On a Super Smash Bros website.

If it's brawl you're talking about, I forgive you. That game is balls competitively.
Melee is more interesting to watch/play, but the skill barrier is very high now considering that everybody and their mother knows how to be technical, so i get you being discouraged from that too. (protip: you don't have to be good to play)

I'm just 15 yo, I don't have the car nor the permission to go to another state (or hell, even fairly far enough in this state) or the friends to give a crack at Melee so that's out of the question, which leaves me nothing to do here but discuss Pokemon and post like an idiot in the DR
