the white ones are my favorite. I think the regulars are too sweet. So you all got white monsters to drink during the presentation right?
Unfortunately no, But Jolly's does have a special called "Seaman's Surprise" and I've heard nothing ,But good things about it !!!Okay, got lemonade, ChunkySlugger72 ?
What the heck is a zoomer? The zoomer/boomer talk is only coming from trolls. I'm old enough to not have grown up with several characters in Smash Bros. that are still perfectly understood as beloved icons (and Ice Climber). Anyone who doesn't see that in Banjo-Kazooie is either ignorant, or, well, just a troll. I believe there are actual Steve fans (heck, I'd love the character too), but the ones battling out against Banjo fans are just in it for the laughs. It's tiring...
Though I do hope Banjo-Kazooie in Smash Bros. does allow younger Nintendo fans, actual zoomers, to seek out the history of Rare and Banjo-Kazooie, and their partnership with Nintendo in the 90s and early 00s. Nintendo after the buyout did a tremendous job of burying Rare's mark on their history, so a lot of fans who grew up with the Gamecube onward may be entirely ignorant of just how big a deal, and how high of quality, Rare was. Truly they were to Nintendo what Pixar is to Disney.
I guess I will take that (as long as it isn't alcoholic) and water. I have Crystal Light lemonade packets, so I can make my own lemonade with the water.Unfortunately no, But Jolly's does have a special called "Seaman's Surprise" and I've heard nothing ,But good things about it !!!
I think the technical term is BoomerFuel™.So you all got white monsters to drink during the presentation right?
There's a 1 percent chance there will be disappointment and a 99 percent chance that there won't be any.i feel like people maybe banking too hard on these rumors that banjo's in smash and I'm ready to see a lot of disappointed faces
Don't get cocky man. Never be so sure of something unless you want it to blow up in your face. I learned that the hard way with Shadow (and this is coming from someone who DIDN'T believed in the Grinch Hoax) and Wolf in Smash 4. Never take a leaker as Gospel (clean Track Record notwithstanding, there's a first for everytime and this could very well be a first for Shinobi)There's a 1 percent chance there will be disappointment and a 99 percent chance that there won't be any.
This is just a joke, by the way.
I know that, that is why I said it was a joke. If you want hard facts, it is more of a 50/50 chance either way.Don't get cocky man. Never be so sure of something unless you want it to blow up in your face. I learned that the hard way with Shadow (and this is coming from someone who DIDN'T believed in the Grinch Hoax) and Wolf in Smash 4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5t1uWqx9cEWith all the drinks being served by Jolly, all we need now is a bar/drinking song to lighten the mood.
This is a typical Verge backpedal tactic. He'll leave a back door open just a little bit so he can Yeet himself outta there if he ends up wrong. Again I couldn't give two flips about Verge at this point since Shinobi sealed the deal for him to come out for the bear and bird. There's a 1 percent chance there will be disappointment and a 99 percent chance that there won't be any.
This is just a joke, by the way.
You did catch the joke, part, right? That post of mine you quoted was never meant to be serious. This is a typical Verge backpedal tactic. He'll leave a back door open just a little bit so he can Yeet himself outta there if he ends up wrong. Again I couldn't give two flips about Verge at this point since Shinobi sealed the deal for him to come out for the bear and bird.
It's also good for a leaker to never 100% go in since it's still rumors they heard. This is a typical Verge backpedal tactic. He'll leave a back door open just a little bit so he can Yeet himself outta there if he ends up wrong. Again I couldn't give two flips about Verge at this point since Shinobi sealed the deal for him to come out for the bear and bird.
Nice song. If only we had lyrics, though.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5t1uWqx9cE
I'd say this is fitting for a round of drinks, not a bad remix either
How about a spider, to climb on walls and spin webs and such?A Level for Banjo Threeiee ? WELL
Mount Fire eyes ! I think it was called ? the lava level gobi talked about
Grunty's Air Port

OK now what new trasfermations do you guys want to see in a new banjo game ???
Maybe you are right. Maybe we all are being a little too cocky. It hard to help it though when there's lots of evidence for your favorite character. I can control myself, though.I kinda feel like we’re gettin a lil too cocky
Things are lookin great, but nothing’s confirmed
Nothing yet. You know me, I'm on top of this; we're all in a holding pattern until Sabi gives us the greenlight barring any major development Ryce is speculating that Banjo is inevitable but that there's a slim chance it won't be E3 and now everyone is depressed because of itI mean, I'm kind of assuming Banjo will be there, but the possibility that this is all just a bunch of coincidences is eating me alive at the same time. Yo, MonkeyDLenny , got any juicy new info for us?
Nintendo adding Banjo but not announcing him at E3 sounds like a total Nintendo thing to do.Nothing yet. You know me, I'm on top of this; we're all in a holding pattern until Sabi gives us the greenlight barring any major development Ryce is speculating that Banjo is inevitable but that there's a slim chance it won't be E3 and now everyone is depressed because of it
I want off this ride already. I wish the Insiders would stop being vague for once and just tell us because it's stressing everyone out
I have my own Banjo Threeie fan fiction planned out. It's a pipe dream, so it's just something fun to do.Uh-oh, the hype train appears to be losing some steam. Time for another conversation-restarter!
Let's say they announce Banjo-Threeie at E3. What kinds of worlds do you want to see in it?
Here are some ideas:
- Asian world
- Space/futuristic world
- Oil rig
- Medieval castle/manor
- New Donk City
That's redundant.evil home owner's association
There's just nothing to talk about. We've hit a point where, unless Banjo's render or screenshots leak online, we're just stuck here holding our breaths.Uh-oh, the hype train appears to be losing some steam.
If that were the case, I'd go "Looks like we may be getting Minecraft Content after all, as Verge said.".Could you imagine what would happen if THIS was the Banjo for Smash reveal at E3?
Dude this sounds freaking amazing. I would love this to be the next Banjo game.I have my own Banjo Threeie fan fiction planned out. It's a pipe dream, so it's just something fun to do.
Takes place after Banjo-Tooie--it's left ambiguous whether or not Nuts & Bolts is canon so that fans can make up their own minds.
All of the moves from Tooie are back. Additionally, there are no more pads. Kazooie can spring jump by holding A (Banjo will jump, and when he lands on the ground, Kazooie will go into a spring jump), and can fly anywhere by double tapping A (as was seen in some of the previews, though probably never intended to be in game). You can split into being Banjo by pressing L, pressing it again switches characters, and running into the other combines them. As a result, it's less about platforming challenges, and more about puzzle solving and exploring. The challenging platforming comes from becoming Mumbo Jumbo and having to complete tasks with a more limited moveset, but improved from Tooie as he can use his magic to double jump and hover, go into speed boosts. Essentially has you play as how Banjo & Kazooie were at, at the beginning of their first game. There are some levels that limit your flying ability, such as world nine. I'm thinking of a gimmick where you can transform into two things each level, depending on if you transform as Banjo or Kazooie. EDIT: Forgot to add Klungo's potions. Since Klungo turned good at the end of Tooie, his potions help you with temporary powers, including growing big, cloning yourself, and becoming invisible. His potions are much harder to find and you have to use it when you touch it, with a timer limiting how long you can use them.
Gruntilda's head is in a museum, and she's cranky. Suddently the lights dim, and a green wizard appears, waving his wand to destroy the glass. It's Gruntilda's father, and he takes her head back to his tower. The hub world I've temporarily named Hagwarts Tower. Kind of too on the nose, but I thought it was funny. Gruntilda is temporarily put on a robots body (perhaps a reference to Grunty's Revenge? Haven't played it). She's planning her doomsday machine while also working on her film career for when she becomes beautiful. Still haven't come up with the inciting incident.
Like Tooie, the worlds are connected--however, you can beat every level without having to go to a later level. Instead, later levels give you access to areas in previous levels that help you in the one you're in.
There are nine worlds:
1. Honey Acres - A farm that is both nostalgia from the old game as well as the tutorial level. Contains the enemies from the tutorial level of the first game, including Topper and Colliwobble. Learn how to fly and spring jump. Slightly bigger but comparable in size to Mumbo's Mountain--smaller worlds than Tooie with more in them.
2. Crackatoa Islands - A tropical resort with an aquatic section and a volcano. Here, you learn how to use blue feathers, which allow for faster and more precise swimming. We meet Blubber here again for a wave racer competition.
3. Thunderhead Bay - A bay next to a mountain in perpetual storm. Making your way up the mountain with a seed lets you grow a beanstalk and go into the clouds. You learn a new egg type--shock eggs. Shock eggs can stun enemies without killing them (good for enemies that can't be killed by any means), and can turn on generators. By using ice eggs you can make the Bay area snow and the water freeze, by using the fire eggs you can melt the snow and ice, and by using the shock eggs you can make it storm. Essentially a weather level, as a callback to the season level in the first game. The idea comes from Yooka-Laylee, and fit with the shock eggs I wanted to include, and I feel like they can take ideas from each other. Much more prominent in this level.
4. Grooty Groot's Grotto - A dark and ominous cavern, headed by the disgusting Groot, a tyranical bat who's turned these parts into a sewer. There are many gates and jail like bars, and you learn to use silver feathers, with the same amount as gold feathers, allow you to turn intangible and go through certain objects. Another section of the level are the pristine ice cavern sections, outside of Groot's rule.
5. Witchywood - A movie studio owned by Grunty, and she's as much a dictatorial director as you would expect. There's horror, sci-fi, and fantasy themed sections. Here you learn the camera ability, allowing you to take pictures when in first person, which allows for some scavenger hunting for particular pictures.
6. Crafty Craters - In the hub world, going into the rocket ship takes you to this level, a moon where there's much less gravity. Here you learn rocket eggs, which allow you to home in on enemies. Going into first person gives you a reticle to more precisely home in. And pooping out rocket eggs gives you a blast from behind that moves you rapidly forward. You meet the aliens from Tooie who've crashed their ship into the moon. Helping them gives you a transport to an orbiting spaceship where there's artificial gravity that can be manipulated.
7. Tinker Town - A vibrant city at night, with a toy-like aesthetic. One of the bigger levels and a lot of different sections, including an arcade, a casino, and a hotel section. There are skyscrappers to climb up and a little nod to Nuts & Bolts where you're able to drive a car, though it runs out of gas quickly. The arcade section is filled with parodies of games, and while I've seen some people include that as a whole level (or a virtual world), I feel like it's more suitable to one section.
8. Scarewolf Village - A haunted village in the woods where the villagers are scared of werewolves at night. By going to the inn and taking a rest, you can transform the world to a night version, where some villagers become werewolves. During the day, if you transform into a werewolf, villagers attack you--at night, if you're normal, werewolves attack you.
9. Camelrot Castle - Gruntilda has taken over this castle and anointed herself queen. It combines various aspects of the other levels. It's a castle with a moat of lava, and a clockwork design that allows you to transform the geometry by spinning gears. A cloud of smog fills the areas above, so if Banjo & Kazooie try to fly, their oxygen depletes rapidly. Banjo can turn into a knight with a sword, while Kazooie can turn into an actual dragon--this allows Banjo to ride Kazooie to the top of the tower.
Still not finished, I have a lot of ideas, but trying to see how it all fits together.
I would see him more in the background of the stage. Or maybe even a stage hazard that messes with the fighters. We didn't get an assist trophy for Joker, but do you think we could get a Mumbo Jumbo assist trophy with Banjo&Kazooie?
You'd better change that name before the Mouse gets litigious.Grooty Groot's Grotto
