Oh, psh. That article literally quotes the guy says "No one has said it isn't happening." They also say he has several insider sources at MS, but they're only as provable as Verg's or IGC's. Pay this guy no mind until whatever is happening happens.Well, there's still the GDC, though there probably won't be anything there.
Lol the top twenty are filled with the Grinch Hoax characters, I wonder if whoever made the hoax pulled from this poll.Ahh yes, I love how Joker ranked at rock bottom at 49, then wound up getting in anyway.

It says DLC picks. Whether or not they're unpopular is not why Ken and Incineroar aren't there.Lol the top twenty are filled with the Grinch Hoax characters, I wonder if whoever made the hoax pulled from this poll.
But people barely give a hoot about the Xbone itself as it is! This is so weird. That is not where you make money. The business inside of games is really selling games, and selling access to games and content in means like that is the fundamental business. So if you open it up, the more often people can play, the more they’re enjoying the art form. It increases the size of the business.
Makes sense to me. It is precisely because people don't really care about XBOX that this makes sense to me. For all those people that don't ever plan on buying an XBOX, they can still buy the pass for access to more games. They can get more money from consumers that were out of reach.http://www.nintendolife.com/news/20...ame_pass_to_any_device_people_want_to_play_on

Seems fair. And I do need a good excuse to access their version of Shovel Knight and try out the Battletoads stage, so.Makes sense to me. I'll use myself as an example. I hate XBOX and would never buy a console, but access to the exclusives on my switch or ps4? Sign me up.
What's your thoughts on why there wasn't a Spirit for it, then?I can't believe there was a Frogger discussion here on Saturday and I missed it.
Honestly, I think it's probably because unlike Bandai-Namco, Konami doesn't have as strong of a history with arcade titles. Like, outside of Frogger, there are some big ones, don't get me wrong. Yie-Ar Kung Fu, Time Pilot, Gyruss, and Rush'n Attack all come to mind, but Namco has it in absolute spades. So I figured maybe Castlevania and Metal Gear were just the bigger draws. I'd have loved for Frogger to be in in some form though. What's your thoughts on why there wasn't a Spirit for it, then?
Agreed. I don't honestly remember a lot of the stuff you said... bar Frogger, Castlevania, and Metal Gear. Most of the stuff I know from Konami is already referenced in Yu-Gi-Oh or is literally unique Yu-Gi-Oh stuff.Honestly, I think it's probably because unlike Bandai-Namco, Konami doesn't have as strong of a history with arcade titles. Who else, But Greninja ? Also Yoshi to a lesser extent because of his frog tongue, But he's a Dinosaur not a Frog/Amphibian.Agreed. It's too bad too. It wouldn't been great to fight a team that had Frogger as a Spirit and Big The Cat as a Spirit. In fact, I remember reading Incineroar can have Big as a Spirit and has the Purple Alt too. No clue if the alt was actually a reference to Big or a coincidence, but that's still a pretty cool battle. Though thinking about it, who would be a good person for Frogger to be equipped to if that overall Spirit Battle was added on to?
(That is so harddddd to explain in less words).
...I blame playing New Leaf and watching Castlevania II that I didn't think of Greninja. Derp. Though my thought is that whoever possesses Froggy would maybe Small-sized as well, since the idea is that Big is trying to protect(or catch) Froggy.Who else, But Greninja ? Also Yoshi to a lesser extent because of his frog tongue.
Meanwhile, it still baffles me that nearly all the paint-related Kirby characters don't have spirits, despite the fact there is a character that can make use of them, right there....I blame playing New Leaf and watching Castlevania II that I didn't think of Greninja. Even news outlets are already giving up on seeing the Switch pass happen, so it'll be all the more surprising should it come to pass.Even if the Gamepass isn't planned to come to Switch anytime soon, I doubt it isn't at least planned between the higher-ups or whoever for sometime later; they could even tease it at E3 with a Banjo-Kazooie reveal or something. Phil Spencer's statements (and how he has met with/talked about Nintendo before) seem to suggest he'd think it'd be good to bring the Gamepass over to Switch...and, honestly, they probably are eventually, as it'd be silly to bring it over to every device except the Switch unless Nintendo declines for some strange reason (I don't see why they would, it just makes more people want the Switch, especially since most XBone exclusives are now on PC anyway and, if rumors are to be believed, Ori and Cuphead will be on Switch).
There's also the fact that Microsoft would be wanting to push their games in Japan, which they can't because their consoles sell horribly over there...so putting their games on the Switch would get them some big bucks if the Japanese audience likes their games.
who else but QUAGMIRE??Who else, But Greninja ? Also Yoshi to a lesser extent because of his frog tongue, But he's a Dinosaur not a Frog/Amphibian.
Giggitywho else but QUAGMIRE??
It might take some extra work and it's a long shot, But if they can't get Xbox 360 emulation and Ghoulies running on the Switch then they can replace those titles with the Donkey Kong Country series, Donkey Kong 64, Diddy Kong Racing and Star Fox Adventures. You know even if game pass doesn't happen on the Switch. I still see stuff like Cuphead coming over, rare replay maybe if they figure out how to get the Xbox 360 emulation to run on the switch, and more then likely any future Banjo-Kazooie games if we are so lucky
And add Sabre Wolf GBA as a bonus for funsies. It might take some extra work and it's a long shot, But if they can't get Xbox 360 emulation and Ghoulies running on the Switch then they can replace those titles with the Donkey Kong Country series, Donkey Kong 64, Diddy Kong Racing and Star Fox Adventures.
Rare Replay: Nintendo Switch Edition.
Just put all the Rareware games in general on it. Or even the N64 games plus the DKC ones. And add Sabre Wolf GBA as a bonus for funsies.
Right but it'd be like single-digit numbers versus over a hundred. No game pass doesn't mean Microsoft won't port games over.
Hopefully they port Rare ReplayNo game pass doesn't mean Microsoft won't port games over.
I was always thinking Microsoft would use the Switch for their family friendly games. So Banjo would still fall in line with that.Right but it'd be like single-digit numbers versus over a hundred.
I don't think it impedes Banjo that much because I believe the two are collaborating nonetheless, but it's still sucky.
I would love a physical copy of that on my Switch.Hopefully they port Rare Replay
But there's no real recent Banjo game to port. I doubt N&B comes over, or the N64 ones (by themselves at least) and while Rare Replay is possible, with Killer Instinct, Perfect Dark, and Conker, it's not exactly "family friendly".I was always thinking Microsoft would use the Switch for their family friendly games. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Emily Rogers track record is spotty as **** isn't it?
Of course I'm talking hypothetically if there is a new Banjo game. But there's no real recent Banjo game to port. I doubt N&B comes over, or the N64 ones (by themselves at least) and while Rare Replay is possible, with Killer Instinct, Perfect Dark, and Conker, it's not exactly "family friendly".
Personally I think if we get Rare games on the N64 Classic it'd hinder getting Rare Replay (for a while), as I don't see Nintendo wanting to detract attention away from the classic console. Imo it's a big reason the retro Nintendo games have been so slow coming to Switch.
It's not immaculate, but it's pretty decent, as far as insiders.Correct me if I'm wrong, but Emily Rogers track record is spotty as **** isn't it?
Oh, alright.Of course I'm talking hypothetically if there is a new Banjo game.
"However he did confirm on an older video that something is effectively in the works between Microsoft and Nintendo but he didn't know exactly what, he couldn't confirm if it was Gamepass/xCloud at the time. Now he's been told that it's not. It could be just another MS game published on Switch as a 3rd party to a platform holder relationship."
Easy! Gimme dat N64 classic.Tough question for everyone.
If you were allowed to only choose one of the two, Which would you rather have?
Rare Replay on the Nintendo Switch with Donkey Kong Country Trilogy, DK 64, Diddy Kong Racing and Star Fox Adventures.
Or
Nintendo 64 Classic Edition with Most of Rare's N64 Library with Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Diddy Kong Racing, Conker's Bad Fur Day and Perfect Dark.
