I'm excited to try a Hat in Time but I don't understand the Yooka hate at ALL. It's not as good as Banjo (what is?) but it delivered what it promised.

I'm not expecting anything bear and bird related or Smash related, honestly, for tomorrow at least. Maybe, at the most, info on Joker. Honestly anything Nintendo-related I'm interested in seeing, especially after such a long dry spell of no information since at least December.

As a guy who used to have only ever gone to 4Chan's /m/ board for a few years, let me tell you this:

That is a better place to talk about games than /v/. I kid you not.

Also, don't ever go there on Summer, that's when stupid teenagers show up to ****post en masse.

Also also, it's much harder to find mecha-related content when you don't rely on /m/, so it's a necessary weasel sometimes. And some perfectly reasonable people do go there, despite the awful reputation 4Chan has.

To be fair, (and I am NOT supporting the garbage side of the site) 4chan is also filled with surprisingly intelligent individuals, showcased during time such as when Shia LaBeouf and his flag were hiding somewhere in America, or when the Bike Lock Assualter needed to be tracked down.
4chan is both organized and incredibly chaotic at the same time.

The prevailing theory is that its where their face is during their battle pose, as seen by Ridley's height number being about the same as Samus'



As a neutral party, this seems like it would work fine with Sora's traditional fighting pose which does have him hunched quite low (I say this not to confirm Sora but to simply avoid deconfirming him)



But there are other factors involved such as a scaling factor that seems to affect the model as well, and Brave's was scaled down slightly so they might be even shorter than originally thought (like 90% or something like that).

If you want to have a good time. Explore /x/ and question how much of it is ****posts or if people actually believe what they are posting. It makes for an insanely good laugh. A few weeks ago they had like 5 threads hit the bump limit because they were arguing over if an alien picture was real or not.

But yeah /v/ is a really toxic place and you have to go searching for the good threads. I think a lot of the toxicity is starting to get to me. But it's kinda like a bad addiction being able to post without a username. So you can say what you want with no consequences. It's no surprise that place is as toxic as it is with little to new super vision and absolute being anonymous.

So, for tomorrow's Direct, I'm hoping that, at the very least, we get gameplay for Joker; I'm really curious to see what his playstyle will be like. Maybe (and that's a big MAYBE) if we're really damn lucky, we'll get the reveal of the next Fighter Pass character as well, but I'm not getting my hopes up for that.

I really, REALLY want to see more Info on the New Animal Crossing for Switch, maybe some info on Luigi's Mansion 3 as well.

I highly doubt we'll get any smash news at all except for maybe Joker reveal/Gameplay, but who knows.

Some more Wii U ports would be nice too, Pikmin 3 or Super Mario Maker rings some bells.

Of course I would love a gameplay trailer for the new Animal Crossing and I hope the wait for this one isn't as long and exhausting as New Leaf's was in my opinion.

Mario Maker 2 (or whatever they decide to call it) could work with the motion controls in the joycons and the pro controller. People were worried that no touch screen would make a new Mario Maker on Switch very hard to work with, but like I said motion controls would do just fine. Dreams on PS4 uses motion controls and it worked great as I've played in the beta, comparing it to another creation game.

I'd also love to see Switch ports of Mario 3D World and Wind Waker HD.

Finally, I'd be ecstatic if they announce an N64 classic. Hopefully we can at least have the first Banjo-Kazooie be in the lineup. If that's the case, then Banjo in Smash might be as good as ours.

So obviously I want Banjo more than any other character, and I want it announced as soon as is possible, but a small part of me wants them to announce Erdrick and Edelgard just to get it over with. Rip off the bandage fast and all while still leaving room for Banjo and Steve if need be. I'd like to think we're done with FE this game but I know better. Sidenote: I have absolutely nothing against FE, I just don't like it when a series gets new characters in base game AND subsequent dlc.

I'm just hoping that by specifying Three Houses that we'll get an information blowout. We've gone since E3 without getting a shred of info about it, and before that, the only news we had was in January 2017, where we merely learned it existed.

At this point, any other game is just icing to me lol.

It's just a move by Microsoft to help third party developers integrate Xbox Live services into their games on other platforms so no. I do think Microsoft and Nintendo talking more and building their relationship will help the Bear and Bird's chances in the future, though.

I hope nintendo just wise up & outright BUY banjo or rare/ rare IP back.

as much as I love mario nintendo needs to deversafy during the wii U i was getting sick of only mario, pokemon, zelda getting so many games !
give other characters time to shine ! what ever happend to wario land & world ? those game sold better then wario were
give daisy, waluigi there own games make galaxy 3 about rosalina insted of mario
KILL OFF NEW SUPER MARIO !
I want that rare magic & world back

Honestly I don't think New Super Mario Bros. needs to be killed off. Nintendo's philosophy has clearly been to make one for each of their systems so that everyone can have an NSMB game, to give a classic Mario platformer. Plus they sell really well, so clearly it's working.

The issue with them is that Nintendo, as of late, has been playing it safe. The original was pretty revolutionary, the Wii version is still considered a must-have Wii game and added 4-Player co-op, which hadn't been seen before. The Wii U version felt like...Wii again, but it at least had some interesting level design ideas under the roughness, but NSMB2 was just a watered down game that felt like a cashgrab.

NSMB Wii was the last one that felt truly innovative, but the ones that followed played it too safe. I say call for innovation, not cancellation.

They should've made Super Mario Bros. 4 by now.

While I like the "NEW" series, why slap that word onto a new game in the same series of Mario games just because the 3 that exist are old...?

Nope all I'm saying is that the height could work for Sora, since that was what the original question was.

I can give my opinions on the data and how it relates to Sora but it really wouldn't be all that relevant to the Banjo thread. You can private message me if you're interested.
