I voted for the Dee countless times already, and I need to say that if you haven't voted yet... do it now. I'm serious. You can think that the Dee won't be announced, but I believe in it. Fun fact: Despite the Kirby series always being more popular in Japan, the game Super Puyo Puyo was reskined as Kirby's Avalanche (or Ghost Trap in Europe) and was ironically, never released in Japan.

While I LOVE Kirby, I'm still miffed about that. Oh, well.

But the whole intention behind it was to release a localised edition of the game featuring characters that were more familiar to the West. I'm pretty sure that there's nothing ironic about it.

But Kirby isn't unpopular outside of Japan, and only one of the four localised versions used a Western property. Moreover, the most obscure of the four is actually a straight localisation, Arle and all.

I still believe that Kirby's Ghost Trap is the best of them, myself. You can't beat how unintentionally hilarious that game and its non-sequiturs are.

Poor Arle. Hopefully SEGA gets more comfy with the original Puyo characters soon.

Sure will, and I've even beaten Return to Dreamland recently after waiting for my Gamepad to be fixed. Watching that spear loving dee makes me wish that he can be considered for DeeLC since he would fit in so well with the other Kirby characters. Maybe Magolor as well because he's that great of a villain, though people would probably whine about Kirby bias.

I don't like the idea of Magolor in Smash either, mainly because I don't like the character to begin with. He was a Marx wannabe in my eyes...

while he did do the same thing as Marx, Magolor wanted power then changed his ways in Dream collection, Marx however hated Kirby and is evil to the heart and wanted to rule Popstar for fun.

I say "AH-de-line".

I don't think there's a definitive pronunciation, just go with whatever suits you.

Does Masked Dedede count? the track in that battle was amazing and the whole thing was perfect.

Along with Wolf, I think that Bandana Dee is coming, we've had a successful campaign, we've proved that he's deeserving, and we've pushed hard enough to the point that I'm very confident about him. Along with Wolf I think it will happen at some point.

I think people are overestimating the chance of characters getting in. Outside of Wolf, I don't think anyone has more than a 15% chance.

There's (probably) only going to be 2-5 more characters. There's so many options that are good choices to make, that you can't possibly have them all.

I do think Banana Dew still has a good chance, relative to the rest of the high and top contenders.
