A lot of them are that colour, too, though.
The species runs the gamut from various reds to pale orange, at the least.

Well, behind Wolf and King K. Rool, Bandana Dee is the most wanted character in Japan. This was out of the top 50 characters, fellow Kirby characters like Magolor, Adeleine, and even Galacta Knight appeared on the poll.

The article this came from also notes that Japanese fans feel that the Kirby series is under-represented in Smash, too.
You know, That video I just saw you post reminded me, I've been meaning to ask you guys (or at the very least, anyone who has Kirby Returns to Dream Land), Is it really possible to play as Meta Knight, King Dedede, or Bandana Waddle Dee in the game's story mode by all by themselves, or does Kirby absolutely HAVE to be Player 1? I definitely don't have a problem with the latter answer, I've just been VERY curious for quite some time now.Man, I hate when someone brings that up

Some parts need the Super Ability, you need to be Kirby as Player 1.
You have to be Kirby, probably because you can't 100% the game without switching copy abilities.

xD I think you should just change your name to Drifloon because you use it so much.
They're generally consistent to some degree, bar three occasions for Dedede (which, honestly, never quite worked, though of the three, Triple Deluxe's is the least bad), though.

Mario has 14 "reps", FE has 5. Reps doesn't matter anymore, we just should add the characters many people want for the game.
It's like the franchise died in 2003. Some of the songs from Kirby's modern games, don't even fit into Smash.

Weirdly enough, I originally wanted a Drifloon avatar before Crowned Dee appeared XD
Late to the party, but the "deserve" argument is kinda flawed if you take a quick look at some of the newcomers in the past Smash games. Rosalina is a great character (I am not a fan of her in Smash, mainly because of her gross fanbase, but in the Mario series she is the best character). So even if she doesn't deserve a spot more than Bandana Dee, in the end she is playable and he isn't, at least not yet.
Goombela would be an awesome addition. Her or Vivian! :DI'm just curious if they would take Goombella the same way because if not, it'll be hilariously absurd

I agree with ALL of that. Honestly, I've noticed it ever since the Wii U version of Smash 4 was released. The one version of Smash 4 that I honestly thought would be jam-packed with with almost nothing BUT Kirby goodies post-Super Star/post-Air Ride (The former because almost all Kirby gameplay content in the Wii U version of Smash 4 seems to be taken from that game alone, and the latter since that was Sakurai's last Kirby game before leaving HAL.) and yet, I was pretty disappointed to see only music made it's way in.

The Kirby section was called Kirby super star, the same way the wario is called wario ware in smash 4 iirc.I wouldn't be so sure of bias without context, myself.

What do you think of DK's representation in Smash? Slightly off-topic, but I want to know your opinion on it.
That being so, if the contents of the trophies are purely from/referring to that game, that isn't bias - it's just an accurate description. That's why I'm curious about it.
I think it's underrepresented, I don't know why Dixie is not in the game already, she is popular, iconic, has decent moveset potential and appears in the recent games. K.Rool is awesome, popular and has moveset potential, but I would understand if he is not in this game.
