I honestly cannot believe that this support thread has 26 pages, you don't see that often. I think some of the big ones might have, but most don't make it past 5 or 6.

It is because he is a true son of Waddle Dee, most people just make the thread because they want to be the one with the OP. Chandelure actually cares about Waddle Dee and his chances, he inspires confidence in the non-believers, he is the face of the movement, he spends time in the thread. So naturally the thread was going to be more successful.well that what this thread was at, before chandelure took it over

I honestly hope that he does. He is my number 2 anticipated newcomer thanks to Chandelure. It would be a shame if Sakurai decided that Dedede/Meta Knight were "enough". I mean we could really use a staff/pole/spear based character. Krystal is really his only competition in my opinion.

I don't think that Krystal would truly impede on Bandana Dee's chances or is a major competition for him, especially with how dormant Star Fox has been. Kirby is becoming a more popular franchise while Star Fox's popularity has been on a stand-still thanks to a lack of games. Also, Krystal's demand has shrunk ever since Brawl was released and Bandana Dee has risen up. I think most of Krystal's supporters are now clinging onto Palutena now.
Personally, I feel as though that Sakurai would overlook Krystal's staff and give her the good old Blaster, Illusion, Fire, Reflector, Landmaster moveset.

last I checked, toad supporters already allied themselves with bandana dee's supporters, so I guess you can call that an alliance,

Haha, I don't think that Krystal, Palutena and Waddle Dee having an elongated weapon would prevent all of them from being playable, they would most certainly use their weapon their own way (Waddle Dee seems to focus more on thrust attacks, Palutena on Magic, and if we give Krystal the moves Fox had in Adventures, she would twirl her weapon around and use it's blunt end).
It's cool to see that Toad's supporters (my most wanted newcomer) allied with the Bandana Dee supporters ! They are both cool characters and should be in this fourth iteration of Smash. ^^

I've wanted Bandana Dee in SSB4 since I played Revenge of the King in super Star Ultra. I swear I'll write a disappointed post or two if he doesn't make it in!
