I don't like the word "predict", since they didn't state how likely he is, like with Sourcegaming' Rate That Character, but if he should be in Smash.

I’ve been thinking if BWD doesn’t make it in base game and isn’t Deeconfirmed as an assist trophy he makes so much sense as DEELC he Has all the stats we’ve been talking about, being the main fourth Kirby rep, first spear user, etc... but what would make him great DLC is he is the most wanted new comer in Japan and usually in the top ten here in the West Nintendo could make sooo much money if he was an additional cost. As much as id like him announced for base game I would not mind paying a few extra bucks for him sometime next year.

Yes. While I still respect GameXplain and enjoy their content, I hate how horribly they handled the Bandana Dee case. Frankly, the verdict came out of nowhere, and the defense's arguments were weaker than overcooked noodles. Honestly, there's only one word to describe that video:

You're fine. We have no issue with the character, just people who try to use him against Bandana Dee or insist he's unique while calling BD a "Hat Goomba". Plus, that's a nice picture.

Frankly, I don't listen to any of what GameXplain has to say about smash speculation. The fact that they basically said said Captain Toad is more likely than BWD despite them being in a similar boat when it comes to faulty deterrents made me not trust their opinions anymore. (While I wouldn't have minded if Cap toad got in, I never seen it happening.)

The main hope is that it has no bearing on the characters joining and/ or isn't relevant in this case.

I can be quoted on saying he's 100% in, however I wont deny it has lined up with those revealed and fits with how the smash team centralizes characters. I honestly just hope they didn't have alternatives at the time and took a completed song they already received.

It's possible, but I don't think it's likely. I don't think Sakurai would be so blatant in indicating what series will receive newcomers. It just seems to me like they're adding music to follow newcomer reveals while also trying to avoid doubling up on series representation for as long as possible. It's likely that they want to have as much of a variety of music uploaded as possible before the game launches. I think that the blog will continue updating post-release, and we'll probably reach a point where there are multiple track samples for several series.
Also worth noting that Ken seems to be one of the most likely newcomers right now, but there's already a Street Fighter track on the site.

Ken is most likely to be an Echo in that case, and we got Chrom and Dark Samus (also echoes) after FE and Metroid tracks were already uploaded.

I think he's gone, for the base game at least. They saved all the existing franchise songs for when their (non-echo) newcomers got revealed. All we can hope for is that Bandana Dee isn't deconfirmed and that Marx or Magolor don't come up from behind and steal Bandana Dee's slot for DLC.

No. I have a few reasons for thinking this.
-Dark Samus was revealed long after Brinstar Depths was put on the site. Although Ridley was revealed at the same time with the song.

-There was a massive gap between Daisy’s reveal and the new Mario remix. Sure, she’s an echo. But there wasn’t much time between Chrom’s reveal and the new Fire Emblem music. I feel like the remixed song has to have even the slightest relation to the character reveal itself to be featured alongside them. Something City Trial doesn’t do for Dee. (I could be wrong about this when relating to other characters, though.)

With this being said however, I sadly thinks it’s tough that Dee will be revealed on his own. Unless there’s a second newcomer to take up the music spot in the same direct, I’m hesitant to say anything.

Hi guys to explain a bit more a few users caught someone on /r/slavelabour paying people 5 cents a vote to bot Banjo, Isaac, and Elma. We talked it out and we came to an agreement that if I bump up the security on the poll he would disclose the amount of votes he bought and who they belong too. He showed me proof of the transactions he made for the votes.

Basically we discussed about how moving to Google Forms was a horrible idea because the main driving security force on these polls is reCaptcha and Google Forms doesn't kick it in unless you vote multiple times on the same IP. He saw the opportunity to easily bot it. We settled on using Pinpoll as it forces reCaptcha and it is the most expensive in terms of vote per money rates. This should hopefully sway people from botting in the future.

The votes changed because I was adjusting them and removing the fraudulent votes. It's a very annoying process because I have to delete sets of 4 at once so I have to make up the ones that I deleted that didn't get botted. I'm still debating on how I should handle this. Since it is public knowledge now I may as well do a complete recount of the votes on the new poll site to keep it completely fair.

I apologize for the controversy and the way I handled this. I would never want to intentionally make you guys think that I'm rigging the poll. This has been very fun for myself and others and the last thing I want to do is ruin the experience.

Hat Goomba is a terrible argument. It makes very little sense. It was also popularized by a channel who had recently done a video about why a Toad with a hat deserves to be in Smash due to being a recent and relevant character with high moveset potential from a popular Nintendo franchise that would bring a lot of new things to the table.
