My only concern is that.... what if you win the first match on FD or BF, and then you win again on the next one on your home stage?

That's what I'm confused about too...assuming this is best 2/3, if I win on FD and my stage, and he wins on his, none of us won since neither of us won on both our own and our opponent's stages. @_@

Maybe the 2 players can agree on a stage before the matches start? It would still be between the allowed stages for the 2 characters.

It wouldn't matter which stage is first because you gotta win on both your home stage and theirs to win the set.

I say they just have to play on each others stages. Because theres so many scenarios in which this would go wrong

Example

Snake wins on shadow moses, but loses on green hill. Would it stay on green hill or go back to moses? Either way it'd be unfair for both of them.

And then if its tied up it be a neutral stage

yes, forget the part about fd or bf.

Your idea sounds good, but the problem with "choosing randomly" is that it's a pain to set your allowed stages before the timer runs down. Agreeing on a first stage would be better and gives a little bit of strategic opportunity.

player b is fox

player a can choose between corneria and lylat. so he does so on stage sleection

player b can choose mansion, delfino ect, so he choose delfino, and selects it for round one.


then WIFI will choose witch stage is acualy started on.

I like the theme but technically ROB's homestage is Mario Bros and Snake's is Shadow Moses which it's very easy for people to do infinites on. (Even Ike and Sonic can infinite people on this stage...)

Oh man, so many memories...that music is so stellar. This was actually the first stage I used Mewtwo on. ^_^

Mewtwo should have uthrown on the UFO first stock. His uthrow is hax.

The Zelda series only has one good competitive stage (Pirate Ship) and people usually debate how good Onett is. New Pork City is terrible and was basically made to just goof around on.
