I've almost decided on my character, (and my parents said that they'll be going alone), but I just realized...what are the specific settings of this match? Are we going by tourney standards (3 stock, 8:00 time limit, no items, etc.) or is there anything specific you're doing differently? You should edit your settings in the OP so people don't ask again (well, I've been the only one, but people may inquire later on...).

Oh, and what about characters that can transform, such as Sheik/Zelda and Samus/Zamus?

If I pick Samus, will I be able to switch mid-match into Zamus? I'd assume not, though, since Zamus wasn't in Melee.

If I decide to start with Sheik, can I switch to Zelda mid-match?

Or, if I pick Zelda in the beginning (in this thread), can I choose to pick Sheik before a match(in the character selection screen)?

Yes, you are allowed to transform as sheik/zelda, as you were allowed to in melee, but not zamus as she wasn't.

Yes, 3 stock, best 2/3, No time limit, but I reccomend that you don't take forever on your match. Best 3/5 on finals, no items.
