The friendlies were great, and my tourney match against Mickey was close. Link FTL

Connor faced Futile in winner's finals, but was knocked into the loser's bracket. Connor beating Bardull brought him back to the Grand Finals against Futile, where they chose to split.
Intense matches. Be sure to look for the videos when they're up on YouTube. Thanks Glenn for being here! I think Glenn deserves a medal for all the stuff he does. Not just for the Smash community but for SoCal as a whole.

(most likely). Plan 9 you've gotta train my Ness to make PR. it'll be like Rocky w/ montages and punching bags and everything.

Well I did pretty horribly in tournament, but I had some fun friendlies. Good games to Faded Image, ViceGrip, and MIK, it was fun playing you guys. Also nice to see Glenn again. Nice tourney Kevin.

And I have been convinced that Peach is a good character.

I'm just sick of people slamming brawl. Over the past week or so on the Pac West board, several new spammy, senseless, and sometimes pointless threads that put down the brawl community have popped up. As long as those threads stay, my sig stays. You don't like seeing my sig, I don't like seeing those threads. It's that simple.

I honestly have no beef with the melee community. You guys are awesome. I don't like it when you put us down though. You have no right to do that. My sig doesn't mean anything... anyone with eyes can see that the melee community is still strong. Most people who come to these boards should be able to tell that my sig just a mockery of some guys posts. I would never show a gaming community, especially a smash community, the disrespect that the brawl community has been receiving on these boards.

That's it? You don't even have a somewhat intelligent arguement? Gosh Lovage, after all that stuff you posted about Melee being soooo much more technical and deep than Brawl, that Melee players have such better mental capabilities for mind games and tech skill than "brawl noobs," I thought that a great melee player such as yourself would have something much more crushing to say to a "brawl noob" like me.

I play Brawl for fun. If I wanted to place in every tournament I went to, I'd use Game and Watch, not Samus. Everyone knows that Melee is a better game than Brawl. But some of us just prefer brawl. I don't know why. But you posting about how much better Melee is isn't going to make us want to go back. If you want to have an intelligent discussion about the differences between Melee and Brawl, just grow up a little, and I'll be glad to talk with you.

On a brighter note, this tournament basically *****. 805 got 1st and 2nd in melee doubles (Larry is honorary 805), first in brawl doubles (with futile), and 3 out of top 5 in melee.

Not many people do believe him. You and maybe a few others. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm fine. You're the ones who picked this arguement with all of your brawl hating posts. You didn't really think that you could go around SMASH World Forums and hate on the latest SMASH Bros game without anyone getting a little annoyed, did you? I'm only giving you guys a dose of your own brawl-hating medicine. You're pretty much just calling yourselves lame. You may have not been talking about brawl in this post, but you are in ALOT of your other ones.

There should seriously be a separate melee board. I'm a part of the Brawl community. I shouldn't have to see all of these immature posts/threads bashing Brawl and it's community when I'm trying to find a tournament to go to. Just play Melee and if you don't like Brawl, then talk trash about it elsewhere, not in a Brawl forum.
