I probably wouldn't be able to pin anyone off his town flip. Who would I look at? Someone who I thought seemed disingenuous on their RF push. Broad answer, yes, but I'd need to see where the votes line up and how each person defends his position when it actually counts (ie when the deadline gets closer and the prospect of actually lynching weighs on everyone's posts).

I could make reaching statements about it now but I'd rather abstain.

Because he thinks he can wait until just before deadline, write a stream of bull****, and then ride his reputation onto any lynch that isn't his own.

This is why when it happens town will be in trouble because no one feels comfortable lynching and hey look, RF suddenly comes in with all this content. "We shouldn't lynch them because they at least give us content" someone will say and then we will all dogpile someone who is inactive just to make sure we actually get a lynch through and then I'll cry myself to sleep.

This is why everyone else should be doing things now. Not waiting until RF posts.
Pah, so thats what you meant about swiss in KvD. I guess I didn't get it because in KvD swiss got lynched anyway despite coming in with a late hunk of BS. with ran leading the wagon no less iirc.

FragMental, Gova, and Soupamario have all been prodded. Also, I sent out a prod to July, but I just remembered that she was v/la a day, so consider her unprodded.

Gova why are you being useless and voting July? Also 369.

Soup why is your vote still on me? If you couldn't have an RF lynch who would be your second preferred lynch?

I saw TTk and Frag viewing today but they didn't say anything. I've asked you both questions, get on them.

Sleep.

There's this thing called reading the thread. I don't know whether you've heard of it, but its pretty popular these days. I suggest you get on it.

And then there were 4 days until the deadline with nothing out of RF or the inactives.

Wonderful.

this minus july.

Did I have a town read on Gova? I forgot.

Still, he chooses to be useless, so I'd be fine with his lynch if need be.

If RF isn't here by tomorrow he's auto claiming. With this inactivity, anything less than 48 hours to evaluate things and possibly switch wagons won't work.

Would rather have TTK over Gova. Rather have RF over TTK.

@ryker: Uhh... try reading recent posts. two maf players of your caliber posting nothing for a long time with no given reasons for inactivity, or when they do post its not comments on content

@gova/july: do you agree that RF's severe lack of content/stated reason(s) for being inactive is a scumtell?
(especially given how much swiss has been openly putting off giving any content)

@kantrip/kuz: thoughts on armor?

Stagnant, game is stagnant.

@Asdioh, Kantrip, July, Fynal: If RF flipped scum who do you think his scummates would be and why?
A scum RF flip would make me look more into ttk, armor, maybe Gova and Frag as scum buddies. Honestly since he doesn't have much in the way of connections I would want to look at people who either I'm having trouble getting a read on or who I feel haven't been very open about reads/stances. Armor is on of the people I feel hasn't been very open because he's been very reactive (aka giving reads when asked instead of freely). TTK and Gova are hard to get a read on because of their lack of presence in general. Frag feel has given stances but seems rather quiet about the RF wagon.

I feel pretty good about the people on the RF wagon, none of them would be top suspects if RF flips scum.

Eh, iirc swiss was a little more active in KvD lol

and what happened there is scum got facerolled

are you saying his partner(s) is/are noobs and/or dont/cant post much?

i don't actually know swiss much from KvD, i spent the first 3/4 of that game wifoming myself out of any read on him because i assumed he was too good for me to read. derp.
Not gonna I was hesitant about the RF wagon because it seems like no scummate is stepping up to protect him, but there are a lot of quiet players and I didn't realize this before but there are a lot of new players who wouldn't know how to protect a scummate. I didn't read KvD but I could see a situation with RF scum and newb/inactive scummate.

The fact that the Day is wearing down and RF, Ryker and Swiss, used their time to say they wouldn't be reading or contributing to the thread instead of using that time to scumhunt or give any kind of stance does strike me as a scumtell from them, especially on Swiss's part.

You still havn't answered as to what your read on RF and July are. I don't care if you have reasoning or not (not what I asked you) but you must have a stance or a premonition on the slot. I want you to give it to me. Can you also give me a read on Armor based on 353.

I have a slight town read on FM for reasons already explained but I'm largely null on Koopa. Regardless, I wanted to see July's thoughts on the subject independent of my own.
Well, I'd have to say leaning town on July then and leaning scum on RF. Though the scum read is just because I think every time Ryker is inactive that he's scum.

Ok, I was wondering because I don't see why you would ask that if you had a town read on him. By 'that' I mean the "is it possible for them to be scum together" question. It would have been more productive imo to just ask if she had agreed or disagreed with your read and why.

Gova why are you being useless and voting July? Also 369.

Thank you. RF, post useful content or be lynched toDay. there is no town motive for being totally unhelpful for no reason as players of your skill level.

By the sounds of it you seem to think these people are scummy independent of RF. Would you still be looking into these people on a town RF flip or are you drawing some connection to RF flipping scum? Agreed @ Frag btw, its something I also noticed.

If you couldn't have an RF lynch who would be your second pick?

If RF is scum I guarantee you he told his scummate not to directly defend him so I wouldn't use that as a basis for reading RF either way. Plus connection WIFOM will just screw with your reads. He's either bussing or just not commenting at all.

However I will say after my re-read (I banged out a quick one this morning inbetween class) that I do like everyone's position on the RF wagon who's already currently on it. They all seemed non-hesitant to lay down their votes at a point where their actual scummates would have waited to look at public opinion of the wagon before boarding. IE, they all joined very quickly after I myself expressed interest. If RF flipped scum I would look at those not on the wagon currently minus July, Soup and Armor (Armor isn't scummates with RF, remember).

This would leave Gova, FM and Koopa. I have a slight town read on FM still, which would leave the pool at Gova and Koopa.

This somehow turned into a rant that answered Kantrips question but yeah.

I wanted to see if she thought they could be scum together. She had hinted that she didn't like Koopa so I wanted to see if she could see them as a scum pair and not just individual scum. This has more to do with what July thought of their interaction with each other, which struck me as odd.

So now that its not RVS and you think July is leaning town, why are you still voting her?

Big man Fynal telling it how it is.

CONTENT POST

It's really hard to do anything when your scumpick is... doing nothing.
Kind of, but you can still glean plenty of info independent of RF. But you know whats not hard to do with him gone? Lynch him.

You are correct, I deff find them scummy regardless of RF's flip. If RF flipped town I would still look into those people; other than those people my weakest reads are Fynal and Kantrip, just from never having played with them before but I don't see RF's flip affecting those reads either. The only one I can honestly say is drawn on a connection to RF is Frag, if RF flips scum I will deff be looking at him because of that evasiveness on the RF topic.

Still reading ever so slowly before answering questions, but I do take offense that you call it "evasiveness" when such a player has demonstrated no interest in defending himself! I merely find it a boring topic, though I have already stated my willingness to lynch him if I find a lack of other iffy reads.

I agree with the first part, I just question when a well-supported wagon pops up and there is no clear dissent because if it's a town ml in progress it's easy for scum to just slide on but 1) I have at least a town lean on everyone on the RF wagon, and 2) RF is legitimately scummy with not even trying to catch-up or provide content all game.

I don't remember what happened with Armor, but I'm going to take your word on it since I'm spacing on what Armor's interactions with RF and don't have time to reread (Consitutional Law eating my soul ;-; ).

You can still give your opinion on RF's scummyness if RF isn't posting...

"boring topic"? you don't want to lynch RF because its a "boring topic"?

ehhhh i don't like this post

The thing is you were asked your opinion on it and RF IS the major topic in the thread atm, so even if you don't find it interesting it's still relevant. For example, you say that you are willing to lynch RF if you find a lack of other "iffy" reads, so would you be willing to vote RF because he's scummy to you, because he's "iffy" (I'll take that as null?), or because he's inactive?

Cool at bold, you do realize that you asked me for those reads? You wouldn't let me have them be null. Though, I guess I could have just not elaborated on RF and got a free pass to a scum read.

I have no clue where to put it. I'm not gonna vote RF just for inactivity. The only good reason I could see to vote him is that he posted in the thread without responding anything/delaying content or something.

@Fynal

Fair enough. I find his lack of activity and defense in general a bit strange regardless of alignment. And I can't seem to pin down any major scumreads otherwise, going back to Kuz's question. Maybe I'm just rusty after being third party so much... FM is such an indecisive fencesitter, too.

No, I don't care to engage in such a conversation because it's boring and has been drawn out for far too long in my eyes. It's making me lose interest in the game overall, so. Vote: Radical Fiction just so we can get an actual flip and go from there with something at least a bit more concrete instead of being slightly stagnant.

Since when have you liked any of my posts? Haha.

@July

Agreeable, I'm just a difficult person. I'm willing to lynch him because he's an inactive deadweight contributing nothing of value even though I'm probably guilty of something similar after this busy weekend.... I just don't get the best of vibes with this lynch for some reason, though I never have a great vibe on any D1 lynch.

I don't see why you're unvoting. Having him at L-1 is fine and its something necessary that we're going to have to do if we want them to claim. If anyone quick hammers and he flips town we know what we're doing tomorrow.

That being said I don't like the last two posts from FM. They're pretty much the definition of wishy-washy. He gives reasoning and then immediately gives himself an out for everything he's arguing for. He is willing to lynch RF for being useless and deadweight but he gets bad vibes about the wagon. He doesn't really like the lynch, but he's going along with it just to pick the game up from stagnating because he's currently bored.

This is also what I called you out on, Gova. Not your actual reads, but the way your presented and substantiated them.
