I'm still trying to convice my bro to come up to seat2. He probably won't have the money, which is a shame. Cause he is about equal with me in terms of skill. But he also lacks interest in smash, he hates competivite smash, and doesn't find it fun anymore. So its unlikely.

I'll keep trying and see what happens tho.

**details For The Next Melbourne Smashfest**

When: Friday the 7th of October N2C meet

Time: 2pm onwards - I want to stay all-nighter so anyone who is up for that can join me. CAOTIC is helping organising and will be coming! Everyone is invited, new and old!

And the first person to reply regaurding the N2C meet, get's to Money match me $5 Only if there staying all night. So it's cheaper if they win, if you lose, you don't lose money.

I'm in for sure. Not sure about all night though Sebastian..depends who's staying I guess. I managed to get Anf to come lol. He wasn't gonna come, apparently he quit melee and took up professional SSB for a whole 3 and a half minutes. So we had a chat (which lasted about 30 seconds) and he's back into melee again... So you can expect us both there, unless Anf decides to take up professional boxing between now and Friday that is.

Freddo and Anf have to come, and anyone who has the attitude of "Depends who's coming" your the one's who make the "who's coming" lol!

Cao is coming for a couple of hours of smash, and Emily is definatly going to be there. AlsoMark said his going to Money match everyone $20 each if they come!

Anf said he was bringing his N64 for old school smash (whippppy) If you get bored of smash just move onto WoW or CS!

Out of Guild Wars and WoW which one is better? Actually what is the difference between the two, everyone say's there the same but GW is free. I need a new game for cube ''-_-''

They're both PC games. WoW seems to consume people from existence for large periods of time, but it does have a monthly subscrition fee. GW doesn't consume as many, and doesn't have as many features (I've heard) but is free after getting the client, and it's apparently heaps of fun to play.

I had time to look at one of the vids, it's a vid from the small TV. So far I've seen some of me vs Mic and me vs Mat. Not particularly impressive. Although Mat likes to get comboed. I'll have a look at some of the others later.

WoW is like run from point A to point B, talk to guy at point B then run back to point A to talk to another guy who tells you to run back to point B (repeat x 1000000) then go out and kill some enemies to get 3 skins for a quest but even though you can see every enemy has skin, and all you need is 3, WoW loves to make monsters have really gay drop rates for quest items so you have to end up killing 100 or so of the enemy -_-

it kinda gets to me how they make everything so long and tedious simply cause you're paying for the service.

GW has all the boring aspects of WoW but you don't need to pay, and the actual features of WoW that is the only reason WoW is even playable are absent in GW. WoW is also kinda cartoony and has very little customisation of characters in terms of their looks which also kinda sucks.

Guild wars seems less like an MMORPG compared to WoW

Guild Wars Online is like Halo 2 Online, fight other clans, that's about it isn't it?
Its like form a party and travel, meeting nobody else, eliminating kill stealers waiting for quest mobs to respawn and stuff like that

I'll admit, GW is a whole lot more prettier though,

try Everquest 2

I prefer Ragnarok then WOW(HAs an ownage name aswell)Probs is they both cost money.

I'm pritty sure WOW is a bit more on the wallet.

I like ragnarok more though because it has more depth and better game play.
Just my opinion.

Take it from someone who's played GW extensively, and knows a little about WoW. WoW is just like Cats said, although its Warcraft, so its cool. Guild Wars is not like massive time waster, its something thats easy to put down and come back to. You create parties at outposts to tackle storyline events in the game, but the actual quests are made up of only your party. There's no open pkill unless you decide to go to Arena's at specific outposts. There you can form pkill parties and enter arenas. Guild Wars is very scenic in parts, has a good story and many other great features. Although it doesnt have the grand aspects of WC's raids, it has a lot of redeeming qualities and character cusomisation is also available.

Oh something else great about GW is that level 20's dont reign supreme over everyone. If your a tossbucket, a lvl 15 could take you down. There's a lot of skill involved in the pkill side, and timing is very important for spells, skills and interruptions. I highly recommend the game over WoW, only because everyone who plays GW has a soul once they're done playing with it... >_> WoW seems to devour people..

Yeah I thought the pvp was good cats, but I've never played it. So I didnt say it was bad. But yeah, absorbed, a lot of people succumb to many consecutive late nights and forego meals and certain non-cricitcal events so they can spam it. My cousin and many of his friends went that way. And I've heard stories of others.

(And as far as interesting matches, the only ones I found interesting were some of Mat barely beating Cao's bowser with Ganon, the Kenton vs Cao matches (see the counterpicking xD), and me vs Kenton.)

Though I don't have it considering how rare the PAL version is, I have a level 33 FOMAR Force and a level 16 FONUWEARL Force, heh heh, I saw some guy trying to sell the pal version of episodes 1 and 2 for $170

People sell and set suicide over MMORPG's its no wonder it consumes time.

Phantasy seems to be rare as I dont see it round.

DUDES! mmorpgs are NOT Smash Brothers!

But on the topic of PSO, im pretty sure you can download and play the PC version on Japanese servers for free (in english). I used to a couple years ago and Im pretty sure some guys i know are still playing it. So dont waste your cash on WoW or GWs.

But, my suggestion would be to wait for Phantasy Star Universe, for people who are unfamiliar with the PSO/PSU play style, the town area/lobby is the only place you have to deal with random *******, you group/party up in the lobby, and head off into the game, which you have all to yourself and your party (YAAAY!!!), i know some people like having random people run around but I found that after awhile playing WoW i would forget why the **** i was even playing, PSO feels like your actually playing a VIDEO GAME, not a jogging simulator, I suppose the whole game world could be described as a giant instance dungeon (if you play WoW) and is comparable to Diablo 2, simply in the sense that you group up, kill **** and its fun!

Now get back to playing Smash Bros!
