There will be something along the lines of a "classic controller expansion" which will let you use it like a standard controller.

i refuse to accept that

that is not a controller, its a remote and a joystick

nintendo, why

dear ... freaking .... god ... why

Ryan- i dont know what you mean, the tourney is on the 3rd of december. that is when the tournament will be played. we will have the tourney when the date is the 3rd of december. on the 3rd of december is when we will have the tournament. a tournament will occur on the 3rd of december and we will be running it and playing smash.

so yeah, the interstate people come whenever, i cant control them, yet

when u buy the Revolution it will come with a a conventional controller cradle/shell This add-on makes it possible to play Revolution games in a more traditional manner. The shell is designed to look and function like accepted "regular" controllers, such as the Wave Bird. After its bottom casing is removed, the Revolution's free-hand-style remote is inserted into a gap in the middle of the controller shell. Gamers can then use the shell as they would a traditional controller, with a notable difference: the pointer remote's sensory functionality remains active. As a result, gamers get the best of both worlds: more buttons and two analog sticks along with motion-sensing operations. these will most likely be used for smash rev
here a mock-up IGN made http://media.cube.ign.com/articles/651/651559/img_3077147.html

If they choose not to dock the controller into the more convetional controller cradle/shell for smash rev, I'm pretty sure that swinging the remote without any button pressing will do your "A" moves, while holding down the B-trigger will do your "B" moves. You'll do movement with the control stick, roll with Z1 and throw with Z2. The A button would probably be for jumping.

Man you had to post it.

Every time I look at it I think it's one of them remotes for household goods.
Lets play with a remote???????????????????????.

God it's so ugly, even if it's ment to be like a mouse it could of been cooler come on.
It makes me wonder what the rev will look like a toaster?

seriosuly every time I look at it I think no.

well the cradle/shell will make it look like a gamecube control if you fell embarrassed swinging a remote around but i bet as soon as u have the remote in your hands u will be singing a different tune if u watch the video u will get a better idea of how the control works

It's not OK. There's already threads for such discussions, and the moderators should know this. This Board is of a higher caliber than most, and as such does not welcome unintelligent/useless/childish/bull**** posts such as yours.

Just an update on the half-day Friday of Manifest. It was pretty cool. I found an old school mate and his friend to hang with while I looked for cats, whom I eventually found. We played smash a bit, and some Naruto, although not together. It was good fun. There were 1 or 2 people who had a clue about smash, (ie Marth side-B to recover) although nothing much to speak of in the technical or mindgames dept. Still it was an encouraging find. Also, to add to that, my school mate Nick, is a smash player from long ago, and is highly interested in further meets. He's posted on SWF before, so he has an account, so I suggested he post and make his details known and such. He's interested in the whole scene. ^^

:rotfl: Get this. Some guy couldnt recover far enough with Sheik, on his last stock on Dreamland 64, and I was edge hogging, so naturally I dropped on his falling body faster than Falcon on a small child, and daired him, and the ******* called me ARROGANT! ME! LOL! Anyway, I thought that was highly amusing. Possibly the highlight of my brief smash stint today.

was it the dude with the mega beard? cause he called me arrogant when i said he was wrong about bowser being one of the best characters (but only with items on) hahaha

it's great fun at manifest playing smash and naruto since everyone watching thinks jon, myself, joe and a few other random guys are unbeatable in the games! gay random stages are on but if i get there early enough i'll turn off all the gay stages on random stage select and turn off items again before anyone notices :3

Sydney, the winners by 4. Such a shame too. I wanted West Coast to win. Manifest Sunday was awesome, a bit of Smash, occured, in which I played surprisingly well even to me. But Naruto stole my attention for the mostpart, what with me and Cats being in the Naruto 3 Teams comp. We did well, and in what was a nerve shaking Final, we took out the 1st place prize of a box of 12 Naruto statuettes. Very neat. At the end of the deciding match, Cats' hands were shaking, and I felt the same way to be honest. It was awesome =D

Good to see Cao and Sloth and Jarryd too. Nice of you guys to come. You too TM. Where was everyone else? =|

Btw Cats, big thanks to you for being my hang around gaming buddy this weekend. Team 360 reigned supreme in the end. Thanks to some careful moves, hard hitting combos, and some luck. =D

Manifest oveeer n_n Was heaps of fun though :3 Didn't get to DDR as much as I'd have liked to, but it was a pain to line up for 20-30mins when I can just play at home when I feel like it :B But it was good to see the smash scene was still hot with heaps of people standing around watching n__n
Grats to Jon and Cats for winning the naruto comp! xD

And without further ado, picutiaares!

One Two Three! Awwwwww xD

Cao, Nick and Jarryd, waiting for Anime Idol to start, in which the competitors were really quite horrible xD

After three days of smash I'm back from the dead

Beating my friend's Fox through simple shield grabbing, downthrowing and down smashing with Peach,

Now he can only beat me through dash grabbing, now i gotta figure out how to counter dash grabbers, short of swapping to my second character, (Usually Marth) because Peach is the only character this Fox player has trouble fighting

wait why am I posting here for, Peach Discussion AWAY!

Oh and hi guys.

The Melbourne Smash Season is almost over, Jarryd and Bryce are leaving later tonight, but not before one last proper ownage session from Sensei Shazfox and Em. It's been a great several days, although I'm fairly spent the whole thing was worth it. And I hear Mark got wasted? Geez man, not when you're the host of someone >_O Grrr.*

Hey cool Manifest pics Ash!! ... And now I want a Totoro. XD

Turns out Em is a no show and Jon comes instead, to school some people. =] If she's on msn later on tonight, I'll leave her about 80 or so abusive messages that have to do with her, warcraft, or both, being very very gay.

When Jarryd and Bryce read this, good playing with you today at Shaz's it was fun. And you too King Kong. Its nice to see another DK with balls. =D

Em has reassured me coutnless times she's not gonne be a Warcraft sellout and ditch Smash. But she ditched Smash 3 days in a row for WoW. So I'm thinking EMily can just eat her own words, hahahr. Anyways, I still trust that she'll attend tourneys/meets which count, which to me is all that matters in the end. ^^

Yeah, that ditto was fun as it was great to play another DK, dont think that im not gonna come down to SEAT 2 either, even if no one else does. This time i'll stay for more than two nights, i'll pack some warm clothes and a blanket and i'll drag Nessbounder down with me since i've been talking to him and he's keen to come down.

Peace out

Now that SEAT is through, i'd like to hold another meet at my house, in two/three weeks, depending upon uni timetables, work etc.

I want to keep the extra layer of skill i've got now. And test the "home ground therom" further. Anyone interested??
