cao, i wouldve loved to have hosted you for when you came here, but that is a really bad time for me. It's like mat said, right in the thick of uni work. It's probably best that you stay with mic, HOWEVER, you must come to my house for smashfests, at least on the friday, (tuesday might be possible too). No weekend days =( *sigh*.
I'll ask mum about whether or not cao could stay in one of the units but i'm not sure how that will go..

Em is 3% sexier than Shaz, its on official docmentation, and paper doesnt lie! LOL! Owned Shaz. Owned. Tag smash is incredibly fun, especially when there are clear speed differences in characters. Catching Falco on Icicle Mountain with Samus is.. well.. frustrating. Lol.

Oh, and I had a talk to mum about finding an Electrical Apprenticeship in Perth. Turns out, that she would support me moving over there if one was definite, so the likelihood of me actually coming on a long term basis has just notably risen. ^_~

Mike, I've received confirmation that Emily, Cronos Rainbow and Cella will be making the Saturday Smash meet, so you will be receiving plenty of pro pwning. All of Melbourne's top tier smashers will be there, with the exception of SabreAnt. So, rest assured, you will get owned by the best. Tourney will depend on what people want - Low Tier hasn't been done before, but what about all those Fox players? lol.

Bring your Cube - the more the better. Everyone should bring their Cubes! Also, BYOC. Myst, Bring your laptop, so we can use it somehow, lol. Bring music too.

Should be 3-4 TV's running. 3 is ideal, with 2 for tourney purposes and the other for casual/friendlies/50HZ-ishness.

PS - Bowser fsmash is terrible. I'm an up-B, fair, bair and grab *****, hahaha

CATS - Dang. Still better than me. A large part your skill lies in tactical character choices, something which I need to learn. Young Link vsing Bowser is so cruel... it's like a never ending sprinkling of projectiles on a slow and fat target.
Shaz - I respect you as a smasher more than ever, and I'd like to thank you again for the contribution you've made towards the smash scene here. I'm a tool for purposely SD'ing in the last microsecond before time was up, lol!

Thanks to everyone who came - I hope all of you had a blast. It's the only rationale I have for dedicating to smashfests - fellow smashers getitng together for a good time. So I hope you all got somehting good out if it.

Well, now that I'm frustrated with Dominos for using up all of my weekend days after 4:00 effectively, I've decided I should do something about it. I can change my availability, but I need to work 2 days of Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So, I was wondering if you guys could sort out which of these 3 days is best for tournaments, meetups and the like, and I'll change my availability to have that day off every week


Keep up the work melbournites, at this rate, you might just become a better smash state than Perth... but not likely.

my pichu only just barely managed to beat miku bowser and it got beat up badly by cao bowser, so i was gonna use yoshi for taking out bowser, but it's been too long since i practised with him and cao quickly took my yoshi out.. so next time i met cao i went y.link

i shouldn't have tried to ness ditto shaz and just tried again with pichu, i might have stood a chance then lol. he's still quite a few steps up on me in skill unless he's roy :D

Where were you in the time of need Jon...strangely without the regular UpB recievers there (those who were there weren't in the happiest states) things were kinda different...I should've UpB'd KO come to think of it. :O

Yeah KO thanks for holding me too...it was kinda weird without Jon being there the first while....I'm glad you noticed my anguish and kept me manly company OooOooOOOoH!
The tourney itself was pretty hectic, with the whole 5 4 3 2 1 thing happeneing so often, and the fact that hardly anyone knows how to combat Mewtwo, Ness, Pichu or Ghay n Watch usefully with other crappo characters meant for a whole bunch of fun, complaints, namecalling and general laughter towards, with or against certain individuals like Sam :D.

It was good having some friendlies with you guys KO and Sam, since I rarely get the chance. I hope you two keep at it, which I know you will !

Cats, your boasting and playing less skillfully than you know you should reminds me of some guy I know pretty well....Keep it up, it makes for a good time >

TM: Keep it up, you'll get better with time. Look forward to you placing better next time when you defeat your biggest rival : KATSUSHIRO! :D

MikulOnIce I didn't get to own you by means of furry fury...how iritating :F...Oh well I'll get you next time, when we have the 5top tiers gay tourny, where Fox, Sheik, Marth, Peach and Falcon are put into abuse mode.

**** Falco, he was fun to chase on Icicle with my speed + WD I had a fair chance to catch him were it not for the bodyguard that is Sam sacrificing himself to my Falco intended tags.....after all those precious seconds of catching up to his sexy beak too :O lol that was fun stuff.
