I had a heart attack just seeing Sonic.
We all knew it was to be, but when you see the guy..wow.
And then I found out about a demo, and videos and...stuff!

Yeah I watched some gameplay vids and she's pretty much identical to her Melee version. Downsmash appears to have limited/no knockback though, so that's fairer I suppose.
This leaves only one thing - her singing is a taunt.... LOL

Final Smashes are item based arnt they?
Yes, but they're diferent to normal items. Picture them as Party balls that float around the level. You have to hit em a decent ammount to get the Final Smash, and even then you can 'drop' it if hit hard enough while "holding" it.

Final Smash would be awesome in competitive play, too bad it's gay chasing. I reckon, 4 stock finals smash only item - we should give it a try! Do you reckon?

It's annoying how smash ball mechanics seem to favour speedy characters. I think that will kill it for some.

You should be able to change how much you have to hit it in order to release its 'goodness'.
D: So it's like, if you do go after it and not your opponent, then your opponent could like... own your *** while you were trying to get it. :D
Have to wait and see.
Some final smashes might be BS. Like Sonic's and Pikachu's (so far it seems like they're invincible and do like mega damage, omg cheap much?). Maybe some will be banned depending on how awesome/cheap they are. And if they are, then I'd think that they'd be banned in tournaments too.
It doesn't mean you can't turn it on for friendlies, though.
