I'll p2p with Australia (or anyone for that matter). My frame delay on Galaxy is 7 frames, so I'm used to high delay.

The smash bros wiki isn't particularly updated for 64. At least half the damage figures are inaccurate, and I recall seeing SHFFLing as an extremely important 64 tech...
Gimping is basically edgeguarding successfully at low percents, though the definition seems to have expanded to plain off-ledge edgeguarding or just getting plain owned (Pika got massively gimped in SSBM)

Gimping is killing early through a clever/efficient means of getting your opponent off the stage while they are still at low damage %.

Ness backthrowing Link at 0% off the edge and then using Dair on Link would be an example of a gimp. It's basically killing your opponent really early... usually by means of edgeguarding.

Where does Fox use SHFFLing? Unless your definition of SHFFL is different from mine...

Fox can't SHFFL with any kind of hitbox.

Standard SHFFL Nair/Dair/Bair do have hitbox for Fox.

I think he meant a hitbox that has a higher degree of usability. Why SHFFL with Fox when his short hop aerial works well?

Are any Aussie 64 players hitting up the STIGMA-H this saturday. If there's interest I'll bring my 64 and some controllers.
I've tried online but I cant' do it until I can connect a controller up as apposed to my keyboard. It's so hard.
So looking for some offline meets to play some serious 64 smash.

Does anyone play one the servers anymore? Like Desiree's?
It's the most used server, since it's up 24/7. We also have James (Blazes) server up 11pm-7am which is great because we're noramlly up late and 3p and 4p's are great fun, but it lags on des' so we can't do it there. A couple of us also know how to put up servers so whenever we want to 3p we can have one of them put it up temporarily, but they have bandwith to consider so it IS only temporary.

Australian now has a super fast server, dedicated and on 24/7 run by james (which is me)

i believe its physical location is in brisbane but i get pings of 29 so delay across the astern board is not a problem.it can support 100 people lag free. bring on the smash team tournaments.

Wow, good stuff Blaze supporting the Aus 64 scene. Hopefully SA doesn't get too bad ping there, I'd love to play on your server.

I tried joining a few times and occasionally get an error message - invalid ping: -465(or w/e). Now I joined and have a ping of 0, lol. Occasionally I do get a normal ping though.

I always get a ping of 0. It's pretty cool.
