Most of the people reading this thread are Pokecenter regulars. No one is laughing at you. In fact, I support you even if I haven't posted to show it (I don't like entering flame wars). I just think you started off a little too strong with the "no advertising" thing, and then the thread went to ****.

Oh, and it was Jesiah who named Articanus (aka ss118) as the only good player. And yes, both of them ARE very good, most likely better than the rest of us here (in the competitive scene). You don't have to take offense at not being called "good" if you're not into the competitive aspect of the game.

@Biggie Smalls: Hi. Thanks for the offer to tutor, but most of the members here aren't competitive players. The rest of us already have accounts at smogon/serebii. And...there's that advertising rule you should know about...yeah. Sorry if this thread gave you a bad impression of us here, we've just been getting more spam threads lately. But please don't flame the non-competitive players.

Ugh...I know the Poke Center regulars didn't do anything, Skyler even supported me (thank you, by the way), but no one posted to defend me and I basically felt backed into a corner and...I don't know. The fact that all I heard was "You're flaming me, can't we be friends?", "lol", "lol2", and "This is entertaining" didn't help. Which basically made me feel like everyone was laughing at me. I was just trying to defend non-competitivity and it felt like everyone thought I was an idiot for it, which just angered me even more because I see nothing wrong with that.

I mean, the second paragraph I suppose was a little unnecessary but I'm getting sick of people coming in here and spamming up the boards and not really caring. How does someone who's been a member longer than I have not know that advertising isn't allowed?

I don't really take offense to not being called good, but telling us we all suck was unnecessary. For the way I play I do just fine. I think the fact that I was able to beat my entire Pearl Version except for up to the first badge with one single Pokemon shows that I'm good at the single-player. I may suck at competitivity, but as I think it's obvious, competitivity isn't everything Pokemon. It didn't even exist for the first game.

It's the whole attitude of these people that annoys me. They didn't even present their arguments nicely, they just told us we suck and that we're childish for not playing competitively. It was completely and totally unnecessary. There was, what, one person that nicely explained that they think competitivity is the biggest part of Pokemon? I realize I didn't exactly reply nicely either, but I'm not going to be nice and kind to someone who blatantly insults me for no reason.

I meant to back you up, sorry. I just didn't know how to put it. but I am 101% percent behind you in the fac that people should play how they want. I mean honestly who was being the REAl childish one for saying that your childish if you don't play competitively and your over 13. Tht's just complete crap.

It's okay, it probably wouldn't have been a good idea to enter the almost-flame-war.

Hm...well, now that I think of it maybe we shouldn't. You generally don't PM a mod unless it's your thread, so unless Biggie Smalls wants to do it maybe we shouldn't.

Anyways, I believe I stopped before zrky even came back into the conversation. Remember the post that ended with "Screw this. Defend yourselves."? That was me saying "I'm done."

Again, I could try to debate just about everything you said there (including me being a troll) but I'd really rather not start up an argument again because you felt like it.
