When was the last time tripping affected a huge match? Tripping isn't that big of an issue. It's the camping that makes the game boring to watch.They don't want to put up a live game on their vod and have the match last for 20 + minutes. Now, Gears 2 is one of the worst competitive games on the circuit as of now yet THEIR community got it to be at events for 09.
The camping on that game is worse than playing against 2 mks on Norfair. There constantly making different arrangements for the game and it's not working that well. Point I'm trying to make is that it's up to the community to decide whether they want the game to play at MLG. Just another example. COD 4 (call of duty) Is no were near a LAN game. The game can only be played online yet their community steeped it up and got it to be at Vegas last year. The community really has to step it up, if they want this game to be at future events.

I'm not that interested in having some other organization run tournaments for/with Enemy Controller when I already have an entire hotel at my disposal and amazing TOs to work with.

If you can get them to do this without them trying to change our rules and without them hurting how much I can pay Magus/others/myself to run the events, then I'll definitely consider it.

MICROSOFT is a SUPPORTING SPONSOR OF MLG

and there are other issues due to Nintendo not wanting to be associated with mlg and the games they have

all i need to say that if i cannot get 50-100 smashers at a tourney twice a month then im not sure how posistive this may turn out. if ppl travel thats a plus it shows that we are dedicated to this game. if we could on the 28th of feb. show up to me and Inui's tourney and i'll present a contract sign up that you will list your state brawl tag and e-mail for me to present 2 times a month to the regional gamestop director for an appeal

Oh!! by the way everyone. i'll be starting the sponsor brawl contract at Enemy controllers tourney on Feb. 28th where i'll host it with Inui. if ppl could bring camera's and video recorders for the presentation that would be great. I'll bring the contract papers and all you need to do is sign your name, e-mail, state, and brawl tag. If i can consistantly get this done, brawl may have it's first gamestop representative spectator monitoring the orginazation Enemy Controller and other hosts has to offer. then b4 the summers break we will have brawl sponsored by gamestop then soon competitive rivals such as radioshack bestbuy panasonic and a few others. what was told to me thru e-mail was me and 4 other smashers of my choice would be first sponsored as the first brawl sponsored team. free travels and prepaid hotels, air travel, and company cards for food ONLY. after talking to Inui these are the 5 proposed

3. Atomsk
4. Blackwaltz
5. Mew2King

This is not a final call, for anyone can take these positions lol except mine but the other 4....well 3 forgot M2K's godlyness lol, can be taken. but ur prolly wondering that we are all from EC but it can change. I'm doing it this way out of respect of my crew. but whomever may contribute most and stand out would take top priorty. Also discussing with Inui again as i do trust his judgement with vast honoring oppinion, no rules should be changed after the sponsoring. These tourneys are made by us for us and as the smashers making all this possible they will not change a thing. WOOHOOO im happy and last which is most important to any smashers fame. im working on live tourneys on G4TV and interviews streamed on attack of the show. help me out ok guys. this isn't an empty promise if we all work together.

If i do i would have to drop one person i cannot violate the contract by adding an extra person. that could do harm to all of us. i would rather keep things to what was suggested. violating any part of it means me being fully responsable and all of the community doomed to any representation of any outside company

You're organizing everything for us, you're pretty cool, you're not bad, and you're repping an underused character, so you get to be in despite not being a top player.

dmbrandon and BlackWaltz are the next choices.

I'd say they're about equal in skill and the results pretty much show that.

If they can't decide between themselves, Atomsk and I can make the call.
