Fight a Snake that mines a platform, and camps grenades/tilts under another platform. It's not easy to get around. I'll admit you do have the advantage when Snake is on a platform, or sometimes when Snake is recovering, but that's only part of the time. His stage control is just ridiculous.

Brinstar is also good for Snake, but again, Kirby has some tricks there. I played in a small online AiB tourney last night (I placed second :D MK came in first of course) and there was a Snake. I played him on Brinstar, he wasn't an amazing player, but he was still a challenge because it was Snake+wifi. Anyway, Brinstar isn't too bad for Kirby, if the Snake isn't familiar with your tricks. I got a nice KO with the extended range/duration hitbox of Stone on the part of the stage that splits it into two. I wouldn't necessarily pick it against Snake, but I personally wouldn't ban it either, in case he chose it as his CP.

I upthrew him on the top platform, and he didn't even die at like 150% + -_- Snake's too broken

...can Snake not pull a grenade out during these things?

I will never deny the fact of Snake being broken, Snake mains will be the first to admit he is broken.
Super grats on the 2nd place too.
And about the grenade thing, I haven't had enough Pika experience to say.

Double dose of the false! Learn to space your B-air, snake has no attack with which to punish a falling B-air that is well-timed and spaced, and it misses grenades, though he can beat it with his up-tilt if he calls it.

Its good as a poke, but not an approach and not spammable.

I don't understand why you guys are discussing equally disadvantaged matchups when you could just learn the matchup with Kirby, and for the record, Pika does not **** Snake.
sorry should have clarified...In the long run its not good considering 2 f-tilts from snake thanks to kirbys small shield will lead to shield stab...yes he cant punish u right away but eventually he will...

Ive learned the matchup and personally i think its next to the Olimar<Peach matchup of extreme hilarity...its just stupid what a kirby has to do to win...

And i know how to space bair...a little

Kinda off topic, but can someone explain why Peach is so good against Olimar? I don't see it...

and yes, it's stupid what a Kirby has to do to win. You can hit Snake twice as much as he hits you, but you'll still take more damage, and due to Snake's weight, Kirby/Snake at equal % = disadvantage for Kirby. -_-

heh, even at unequal percentages, he still has the advantage...

But at least he can be comboed fairly easily and dies when you Bair stage spike him! *Shakes fist at ROB*

God****! Is Chudat a mindreader? Seriously, it looks like he knew what Snake was going to do before even Snake knew...

If you want to keep that impression, don't watch matches 2 or 3 :(

People say FD is good for Snake > Kirby while BF is good for Kirby > Snake, but Chu's results say otherwise...

Kirby does better on FD, he has more room to use his aerial combos, and Snake uses the platforms to his advantage with mines and C4. I usually take Snake to Jungle Japes, or Rumble Falls if I have the option to.

That stage should be legal.
Lol... does this translate into "Let me **** Snake/DK/Bowser/D3/and anyone else with bad vertical jumps here!"?

Yeah, match 2-3 Snake did much better. Chu still played awesome in all of them, but the mind games were stepped up a lot on Snake's part.

Kirby is really good vs snake.

You just have to be extremely patient.

U make me laugh :embarrass

Chu didnt play as well in the match 2 and 3...also Chillin started to adjust and do all the things a snake should do...He wasnt nearly campy enough in the first match(plus chu just decimated him)...

The funny things i watched these vids before i went to class and was gonna post them here...Caliber...ur a f-ing mindreader :dizzy:

@Asdioh: Peach cancels all of Olimars moves with her dair...her peach bomber destroys all pikmin...and her edgeguarding is extremely easy in this matchup...seriously my last tourney i 2 stocked a good olimar on Oli's Mansion...it was **** :)

OMG shame on me for not calling him by his name and saying "that snake"
no. it would have been the same thing if you said "chillin probably doesnt use his grenades to get out of combos."

lol. no need to get touchy. all im saying is, i think chillin uses his grenades fine.

i know. when i posted that comment earlier, it wasnt because you had no idea it was chillin. it wasnt because you said it was "that snake." it was because you assumed the guy didnt use his grenades well without even watching the video. which...is why i told you who that snake was, and said i thought he used his grenades fine. i wasnt trying to be an *** at all.
