Anyone knows how to hack router authentication login. I can't seem to get in my router and the default passwords aren't working. I really don't wanna reset my router because I'm pretty sure my dad changed the username and login, and I wanna play Project 64 online again. Kaillera won't let me connect unless I have all ports enabled on my router aka DMZ mode for some reason. Anyone think they can help me out.

Most routers have a little hole in them that allows you to insert a pin or needle that lets you full reset the device.

might not be your router, could be a firewall (i don't think kaillera ever requires all ports to be enabled...)

I said I didn't wanna do that, but thanks for helping out. I tried that a day ago hoping my dad wouldn't be in the mood to reset up the router with a new password. However, when I did reset I had no access to my router. http://192.168.1.1/ just didn't seem to exist as a url in my browser no more, and I'm pretty sure I need the CDs for the setup which my dad has lol

When I did had access to my firewall, it was off and I still couldn't connect unless DMZ was enabled

I'm pretty sure you don't need a CD to access any router. And if 192.168.1.1 doesn't work after resetting your router, then it means it wasn't the default ip, so try 192.168.0.1 or something. Look up your router on google, you'll find instructions how to access it.

Yea if I said I need to put my laptop in DMZ I doubt he'll let me. If you know what DMZ is, it opens ALL Ports on the router. It will make me too vulnerable to getting hi-jacked. If I told him I was enabling DMZ and he knew what it was.....pffffft no chance he'll let me enable it. Lol, if I'm not gonna be able to get it enable then I'm quitting smash 64 and moving back to melee. There at least I'll be able to play ppl in my state at tourneys. I've never seen a tournament hosted for 64 in NY which was preventing me from playing it, but since it had online I played it all the time. However since it seems I might not get it back Im gonna quit, because I'm not gonna get better ****ing up lvl 9 CPUs whose tech skill never improves.

I have no idea how Kaillera works, but I think I remember firo or Fireblaster saying in another topic that you don't need to open ALL the ports.

you have to put your pc on dmz only if you are hosting a server, as it uses random port assignment for incoming connections.
if you are just playing, you do not have to do that.

No, you only have to open port 27888 (default) when hosting.

I am using an XBCD Afterglow Ax.1 Wired Controller.
When I got to the Input Settings and began to configure, all was well. When I get to setting Down on my Left Analog it does not register.

I hit the button, the timer starts, I throw my left analog in the downward direction, and nothing registers. I've tried and failed using both the Jabo's DirectInput7 1.40 Plugin and the N-Rage`s Direct-Input8 1.61 Plugin.

Is there a recommended plugin that will fix this? Or are there any better suggestions?

Notes: This is an Xbox 360 USB Controller and I am running Windows 7.

You shouldn't need to open ports just to connect to a kaillera server. If for some reason you do, opening about 100 ports (27888 to 28000) should to the trick as port assignments start at 27888 for the first user that connects and 27889 for the second, etc. until that player disconnects and that port is available again.

Opening ports is not needed for connecting to kaillera or connecting to someone hosting P2P. Opening ports is necessary only if someone wants to connect you through p2p.

Vista and windows 7 can mute individual applications. To get no sound for XP, overwrite the AudioHLE.dll file with the nosound dll file like you would with a graphics plugin. Kaillera loads a dll file named "AudioHLE.dll" for sound.

what do you mean, you cannot set them up on nrage plugin? remember to tick raw data off.

Yeah, got that one. Nrage's DI8 plugin (the one that comes with pj64k on the normallest download), raw data's unchecked, I get the same problem on and offline. I remember running into it last time I tried to use controllers online, but I can't remember how I fixed it. All the buttons are working fine except for the C buttons, which won't register when I push them.

Edit: I'm using that black adapter with two ports, you know the one.

i use keyboard, i am trying to give advice based on memory of people having the same problem.
have you tried to calibrate your controller in windows and check the c buttons actually work (and that it is not an adapter problem)?

It works on my mac and on console, so yeah, the actual c buttons do work, as does the adapter. I'm screwing something up in the plugins options, I think.

The c-buttons show up as axis using the mayflash adapter. Trying using a V2 version of N-rage. V2 1.80a should work.

You get to pick what you wish to display.

Your group memberships are shown in the "group memberships" (no way) section of your User CP. There you can select what you wish to be addressed by, in terms of your postbit

my question is similar: if i gain premium memebership, doesn't that mean i can change the color of my name AND change my name if i wanted to?

also, can't you add your own personal sentence below if you do get premium?

you get your name changed to GREEN if your premium and you do get a custom title if i remember correctly

12 including as said above. The other difference is that Mic-128 is a writer (smashboards announcements) while Hylian is a smash developer (for the hack versions as well as being a tester for brawlbox If I remember right)
