eh, I don't know. There is a lot of opinion I think.
I'm not sure what's been going on at the STB's tournaments but looking at the results at Goop's current tourney, the results seem pretty consistant with the current power rankings for the top 5. So..it's safe to say that the current top 5 have been decided by tourney performances. The other 6-10, I think it is a mixture of opinions and tourney performances, since 6-10 don't necessarily go to as many tournies, at least recent ones (like myself).
I dunno.

It was just a question. But yeah, school is brutal. Things have to be perfectly lined up, or else Smash and school clash in a battle of epic proportions. I'll try to attend if this coincides with my school and work. It's funny how life sometimes wants to keep you from playing Smash.

ya i know i was really surprsied too. we had a lot of kids show up but it was a great tourney. i advertised for like 2 1/2 months, and had a really good turn out for just this small town. i think its because nobody had ever done a big tourney before.
i would like to throw one, but this time i'd like to bring some outside competition. but i'd need some support from you guys, to know that at least some of u might make it. so u guys should think about it, i'll try to make it to where it will conflict less with ppl's schedules. housing will be provided if needed.

Anyways, I wanna get Coty up on these rankings. I think the other four panelist [not Chuckie] have agreed where he should be placed (above axe). The rest of the list as been agreed by the panelists except one spot. Should I just go ahead and place Coty there? The other discrepency in the list lies in the top three spots in which Chuckie will have to be the deciding factor cause the vote is 2-2 there.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and removing hanki with Coty's placement.

But seriously, I think that's a pretty good top 10. And ****. Everyone on there is so good. Seriously, even Az's top 20 would be really good. People like Azenith and James are so good but are always just outside of the rankings. Dark too, except for that like week where he was the #10.

Yeah AZ is too good. I still want to make a top 15 or 20 after this list gets finished. I'd like to get people like James, Zenith, and Dark in there like you said. Vectorman would probably be in there. Ruben is a very good contender for either 11, 12, or 13 IMO. Corey could be in there somewhere...yeah there are a lot of people who would be ranked.

All these new players....its crazy i tell ya crazy.
Ruben doesn't really post much on smashboards. He is a Tucson player who I met a while ago and have been playing him here and there throughout that time. Pretty technical falco who keeps up with me. I think Goop's last tourney was the first tourney he's been to in AZ.
Oh yeah, he was also at my round robin one time, but I don't think you were there for that.
He was in Chicago for a while playing smash which is why you all haven't really met him.
Easily top 15 IMO.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I'll try to make it to Gamer's tourney. Light going would give me more incentive to make it... I need a tourney set against him. I'm ready to beat him this time lol.
Yeah, I haven't forgotten our MM, gamer. Hopefully I can get more practice against Oakie's falco before playing you. Oakie could be another contender for top 15, but I'm not sure about that yet. He's getting better though.

Sad thing is every time there's been a tourney in AZ, i've gone back to chicago for vacation or something. I'm here to stay now though, so hopefully i'll be makin my way into top 10 or 15 soon, hehe.
