Gnw is so much fun to play as! Hes not a character that just throws a sword around! Look at most of his attacks! Theyre all unique

Hes a very random character and 1 of the hardest to read i believe. I cant believe Kevin Isnt maining him since he normally picks goofy characters like voldo on soul cal Hahaha

and the whobo 4 looks sexy i will have to see the distance if i am to make a carpool

I would totally go to Whobo (Actually, I had been planning on it for a while now), but I wouldn't be able to stay for the Sunday tournament stuff. Make Brawl, or at least most of the brawl stuff, on Friday/Saturday and you will totally see me there.

I doubt that one measly yoshi player will change your mind though, haha.

Yeah. And darklink is ultra proban I dont think he wants anything to do with an mk banned tourney. I'd love to go though. Yeah ethil, whobo is a pretty big tourney.

@Rob: gw is pretty easy to read. If the person using them plays correctly he CAN be, though... it just takes a lot of effort

even if we are playing a game and watch, and we read his back air for example, if you space it well, you just lowered there shield and didn't get hit at all. So you can think of it that way to, because i see it coming alot of the times but all i can do is shield at that time.

Yeah I actually meant to mention that in my original post but im at work and I had to cut it short. But yeah gw is easy to read but his moves are still pretty effective. Granted your character doesnt suck. GW is only scary for low tiers

this little fight got me wondering, what are your guys's favorite fighting games OF ALL TIME? You can do either series or specific games or both.

For me its the SSB series of course at first, guilty gear series at a very close second, and the KOF series third.

of all fighters it'd have to be... oh man, I guess it'd be Tekken because I enjoy it most without being very good, whereas with SSB in second, it's not as fun and I'm still not very good lol

Tekken (not 1 or Advanced)
Melee
Brawl (ugh, I guess)
Soul Calibur (not SoulBlade or SC1. Didn't really play either)
Street Fighter 4 Series (I haven't played the other SF games except 2 lol)
Guilty Gear Accent Core
Mortal Kombat (Trilogy, MKvsDC, MK9)
DoA (this series probably would have been higher on my list if they didn't make the series xbox exclusive after 2. at least DoA5 will be multi-platform. DoA 1 is sick though.)

Eh, despite my love for Brawl and Soul Calibur, I have never been a huge fan of fighters in general. I just love being competitive. The only fighters I really got into and enjoyed was:

Brawl
Melee
Soul Calibur (since SC2)
Guilty Gear
BlazBlue

It's a sign that they want to make a new GG. They're trying to get a lot of old and new interest back in the series.

That is frikkin' awesome! Guilty Gear is an amazing game, and I love the creativity of some of the characters, and the animation is super nice too. Time to add another game to my collection.

Alright, so from what I gather, there may be a Brawl tourney in Tucson on the 3rd. There is a Melee tourney that day and the host for that wants to do Brawl as well to get more Melee entrants, so I'll keep you guys updated. I've only heard this was happening while at the smashfest in Tucson this past Saturday. I haven't seen any concrete info regarding this, it's not posted in their thread but I've made a post asking what's going on with Brawl since the 3rd is pretty close.
