You obviously didn't understand the Icon theory if you thought the DS Icon disproved it

The icon theory is that, if you look at the file names of the icons for the franchises represented (ie the Mushroom for the Mario universe, the Triforce for Zelda etc.), they're each numbered. When you list them, they seem to fall into a pattern of the Smash symbol, the franchises that were in the original SSB, two of the symbols introduced (with one inbetween that's assumed to be the third [Mr. Game and Watch's]) in Melee, and then the new ones for Brawl (with one missing amidst these. It, of course, isn't definate but it still seems somewhat intentional.

And then there's the whole alphabetical thing where you can use the Japanese titles of the franchises mixed with the names of the main characters. You really have to try to get this to work and it's pretty sketchy so you shouldn't put a whole lot of faith in it. :/

oh I understand it perfectly well(its slaped all over the board for goodness sakes) its the alphabetical part that was shot down because of this(if I am thinking corectly but an all-nighter doesnt help).also I recal it was supposed to end at 20, well it didnt.

Nah, there wasn't anything about it stopping at 20; 20 was just the last highest number until 21 was revealed and a few idiots (who did that with all the highest numbers) thought that was it.

Why made you think it was suppose to end at 20? No one said that...

...and yeah, that Alphabetical crap I knew was wrong from the start...everything else is right though

except the new stuff they just added to try and preserve their precious alphabetical thing

G&W does fancy moves. Gets 100 points.

Using this, everyone within a large radius of him takes exactly 100% damage and is hit away at a set knockback (doesn't kill, just keeps enemies from G&W).

G&W recovers all damage dealt.

IT'S crap, once they saw the alphabetical order thing wasn't working then they decided to sort it in 64 debuts to Melee debuts to Brawl debuts, that's why it fails, when that also fails, they will probably come up with something even more stupid, I don't know why it's so hard to believe that Sakurai can just put another series in that slot, plus G&W was a good one time thing, they can't do anything new with the franchise in Brawl, it can't go beyond one rep, it can't go beyond having one stage, there's nothing new they can do with it, unless they pull a subspace emissary plot out of their ***, and still there isn't a lot to do with him, it would be a waste if he returned.

I want G& W back because he was my main in melee (though i wasn't very good) he has a uniques moveset and the icon theory helps this along (also with the addition of ice climbers

Because he's a 2D character that beebs instead of actually talking because he comes from Hand held Game & Watch games and has strange moves like hitting people with a turtle and a random attack that has the possibility of killing someone instantly...

HOw is he not unique...


BTW it's obvious to most everyone he is returning

The world icon list, dude. It goes in order of the games, 64, Melee and Brawl. For Melee, there's an empty spot between Fire Emblem and Ice Climbers. G&W is going there, I promise you.

They could have Paper Mario instead on G&W. It's different but that doesn't mean it's cool. Do u find his moveset appealing? Were u excited when u unlocked him as a playable character? Plus, Brawl is more focused on the character's story. His purpose would be void

And no, Paper Mario CAN'T be instead of G&W, because G&W's icon is what goes between Fire Emblem's and Ice Climbers'.

Game & Watch was an awesome and very unique character...

How is his purpose void?

How does it guarantee him? It could be him as an assist trophy. That's why the animal crossing icon is there. It's for Mr Resetti.
