Anyone else getting bored of snake?

I've been playin him pretty much since a month after release. Latley i've been using wario.

Snake just doesnt seem fun for me anymore.
Someone make him more fun for me so i can win tourneys with snake instead of wario :(

I'm pretty much feeling the exact same way.

Dthrow tech chase is still hilariously fun though.

I once tried playing only doing damage with grenades, and finishing with C4.

Yeah i lost that match.

I play snake pretty aggressive, iunno maybe i should try more aggressive lol.

Falcon is awesomely fun. I main him because he's fun.

MK bores me to hell. I secondary him because he covers all of Snake's bad matchups IMO

Bowser is awesomely fun. I secondary him because he's ****ing fun. 3 hits and your opponents already within KO range of an fsmash (mindgames son.)

One of my friends plays like this with Falcon as a joke. He makes his tag "Punch".

It's pretty funny.

Thing is i use to win while having alot of fun playing snake.
Now i still win, but i play wario, so its fun but not as fun as snake used to be.
Iunno maybe im just bored of brawl.

I still dominate florida though, just with wario instead of snake :(

Razer plays without tilts. Hes good at making a barrage of exploding shiz that is hard to get past.

Take a break from the game. Brawl is fun, but as of right now it doesn't have too much depth.

I haven't gotten bored of Snake personally, but when I got bored of Ike, I played other characters and limited my play of the game in general and now playing Ike again is fun. If it happens for Snake then I'll do the same but that doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon.

Is probably cause you play with Snake all the time, even on friendlies, cause the only time I play Snake is on Tourneys or when I need some practice with him, but when I play with my friends, I'm using every Char.

Its probably because you aren't playing people better than you, so theres no reason to work on your snake.

True, True, but I think that's with everyone, since people always tend to play with the same group of friends, and only when is a Tourney you try the hardest, plus I think my friends are good, since they place pretty decent on tourneys, it may be local but hey right XP

Just find a character with a totally different playstyle from Snake that you enjoy playing. Maybe try and play a lesser known character with good potential and develop its metagame.

And if you want aggressive but not Meta ZSS is actually a really nice one, lots of fun options and lots of potential IMO because of all the weird unique things she can do. Diddy is in the same boat though he is more developed.

Gonna be honest, when I got bored of Snake. I started playing Melee again, and after like two or three days I played brawl again and had fun with Snake again. Just a thing that i did.

How would this make Snake any funner for him? Might as well tell him to only try to use F-smash and see if he can win. Not saying Snake can't do without those moves, but, taking moves out of Snake's moveset won't make him funner to use, simply more frustrating.

Snake overall just rocks, what you can do with explosives and set control on the stage is just amazing. And Snake can punish mistakes like no other. I understand you have been using Snake for a long time and he can get boring, maybe a good antidote can be to save Snake for your hard matchups, and in the more common friendlies and such use your next best alt.

Find who your favorite character is and use him, and save your best for when you need him. That's why I main R.O.B. even though he isn't my best (which of course, is Meta Knight, but all obviousness aside, I pull out G&W as my trump card).

No one can tell you what to do because everyone is unique, but I hope you find that one thing that can spark an idea that will make Snake interesting for you again.

serious response: try playing more characters, I rarely get bored with characters because I've never had a real consistent main, always been at least 2-3 characters at the top for me(currently MK/Snake/Falco/Lucario, experimenting aka trying to stop sucking at ZSS and Diddy). alternatively you could play brawl less and try some other games more maybe that would help
