I know. But like in game DI. Like Some combos are really hard to DI out of. So are any of your combos like DIable by human standards? Sorry If im confusing, but it just seems that the combo is too basic to work...hehe.

I haven't played online since September. My university prevents netplay from working. I'll be playing again around christmas period.

Qjet,
There are no tutorials but there is a site that will help you:
www.tasvideos.org

There's no easy way to get good at SSB TAS though. Once you've created many videos then you pretty much know how everything works.
Post your quetions at www.tasvideos.org/forum and go to the SSB section. I can answer you there.

Your uni prevents netplay? Thats odd. What happens in kilera, i know i had some problems when i was at campus too but i managed to work around it. The system my campus uses you can start a special log in, give access to certain ports. If you can do that then you would be able to clear those ports for killera. You do some research on it?

Can you do a 1v1 match with both characters used by you?

I think that will be interesting.

The whole point of a you-vs-you TAS match would be to do cool-looking ****. Maybe have crazy-*** combos that keep both characters in the air, like a Luigi ladder but MORE ********.

Just... do it 'n' see what happens, yo'.

Me vs Me is too difficult because it's almost impossible to play against yourself even with tools.

It obviously can't be a 'normal' match since I'd have to be biased towards one character.

Combos are almost non-existent with perfect DI. Apart from DI'ing INTO otherwise impossible combos I don't see much happening.

I don't think it can be done to any great effect.

EXACTLY! Making rediculous combos that pass back and forth and stuff.

Like, at first P1 DIs into P2s combo to keep it going... and then suddenly DIs out and starts his own combo, into which P2 DIs until an opportune moment whereat he DIs out and...

You get the idea, t'would be excellant. You'd be breaking ground by discovering which characters can keep each other combo'd in cool ways the longest.

I don't think any character has a good enough hit recovery to do what you described.
It is a good idea. I'll see if it can work.

Edit: Cort gave me +rep in October =O

Hahaha, man that Jigglypuff is good at DIing into combos.

*adds ant-d to list of people he needs to constantly rep*
