Yes, it was at a Best Buy. They had a bin full of amiibo with a of piece of paper that read "amiibo for Wii Fit Trainer". Thought it was the strangest choice of words. Most have been an internal oversight.

I'm lucky I pre ordered everything I wanted and gamestop hasn't screwed me on wave 1 or wave 2 so I'm hopeful for Shulk, Ike, Megaman, and Sonic. But like Pitu said even pre orders aren't 100% safe.

I was able to pick up my Bowser, Toon Link, and Sheik yesterday. I was also able to get a Shulk when it came up a few days back in GameStop online. Still waiting on that one. Now all I need to do is find Meta Knight.

is there a thread dedicated to amiibo training in smash? I'm not really interested in the entire "collectible" aspect (though I understand it's importance) and the only substantial thread I found on this topic got shut down and linked to here. Either way I think they're different enough topics and it is especially frustrating because now collectors are not only getting all of the amiibos but 95% of discussion I'm finding online is about rarity and how collectible they are.

No disrepect to mods around here obviously but after doing some research I just thought I'd mention it. If this has been more than covered otherwise I apologize for my ignorance.

You can trade with numerous people online so it's perfectly ok. If your intention was to make a lot of my by intending to sell it at a ridiculously inflated price is scalping. So you're ok. I'm trying to do the same by getting extra Sonics and Ikes so I can trade to get Captain Falcon and others.

Target stores are going to stop carrying Samus, now. Samus will soon be completely bought out at NA retailers as the greedy go out and buy 4 or 5 at a time, trying to sell them on eBay. If you need Samus, get one now before the scalper wannabes get to them.

Preorders for wave 4 might happen this month. Some Gamestop stores are saying there will never be any wave 4 preorders... Not sure which rumors to believe.

AHHH no ****, that guy is in florida. I'm in that video. I remember seeing him.
The elder woman behind me is one who I agreed to help.

Just want to point out, he cannot be trying THAT hard. He got to his first TRU at 9.58, two minutes before they opened.
Whereas I was there, and missed out, then went back two hours later and shmoozed my way into Ike, Megaman, and Sonic. I'm not a an of 'get there first,' but I am a big fan of street skills.
