I need that Gold Mega Man amiibo so badly, oh my goodness. The Wolf Link amiibo looks incredible too! Geezus, my wallet is going nuts. The Pokkén Tournament amiibo cards is something I'm interested in collecting too. Glad to see a release date for the Lucas amiibo but still eagerly awaiting Ryu and Roy amiibos. Who would've thought we'd ever get a Cloud amiibo either? That's going to be very exciting to get.

When they said that more Amiibo would be compatible with Mega Man Legacy Collection, I honestly got my hopes up for a Mega Man set (maybe the Mega Men from Mega Man's final smash, or Mega Man, Roll, and the first six Robot Masters?). Gold Mega Man is nice, but I'm not sure if it's worth getting if I already have a Mega Man amiibo.

So, today I got Mewtwo, Green Yoshi, Tom Nook, and Mable... and a hole in my heart. Not one person besides myself lined up for amiibos today. Not a one. I actually found myself missing it - meeting new people in the hunt, the anxiety of figuring out who's a scalper and who might try and jump the line... it was stressful, but somehow having none of that feels worse in a way. Maybe it's just because I stood outside for an hour and a half with no one to talk to, but compared to past releases... this was a very surreal experience.

I commend Nintendo for mostly fixing thr supply problem. I got out of class and just walked into a GameStop and picked up a Mewtwo. Seems they are listening - I was afraid they'd make no stock since he's DLC...

Grabbed a Mewtwo Amiibo at Wal-Mart today. I wasn't even aware he's out today, but I'm really glad I got him because I was afraid he'd be hard to find unless I looked online.

I got Mewtwo and the Animal Crossing amiibos last night. I went to Best Buy at 7 PM with my boyfriend. There were only 3 Mewtwo left so we each got one. There were so many Animal Crossing amiibos so I got them all. Oh, and I picked up my preorder yesterday morning from another Best Buy, Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival with Isabelle and Digby, but they didn't have the other amiibos.

I too picked up a Mewtwo Amiibo today. He looks nice. I've been collecting the Smash line since they first came out, and I finally set up the ones I have (still in their boxes) along my wall until I can get a shelf for them. I counted 36 individual Smash Amiibo in my collection so far also counting the three in the Retro Pack. I better start filling in those gaps soon.

I'm especially hyped for the Lucas Amiibo. He'll be one I pre-order as soon as I get the chance.

Our first look at the Roy and Ryu amiibos.

Also, Roy is exclusive to Gamestop in the US. This could be a good (see: Dr. Mario, Bowser Junior, the retro trio) or bad (see: every other store exclusive) thing for people who want his amiibo. Also, if anyone collects the Animal Crossing amiibo, Timmy and Tommy Nook are exclusive to Target in the US. Ryu doesn't seem to be exclusive.

EDIT: Also, it looks like the Famicom-coloured ROB will be released over here? Could be a mistake, but I hope that it will be released individually - between my brother and I, ROB is the only one of the retro trio that we want.

With the way Gamestop's handled exclusives lately, I'm sure he'll be fine if you get there the day of release. That's way more than can be said for Robin and Lucina (and Ike in the US).

Usually, when I preorder stuff from Best Buy, I tend to get a confirmation from them two days prior to launch.

As far as in-store pickup, you would have to bring an invoice or something in order to pick up your item at the store at launch. I'm not really sure since I only get my stuff delivered in the mail.

I just got Little Mac at Best Buy this morning! I know that Canada's Best Buy has Mac (and Dark Pit) online and in stores at limited quantities, and they're adding them throughout the week (I just checked for Mac on Tuesday and he was there briefly, so I didn't expect that they'd have more come in during the same week), so keep an eye out.

Also, this might mean that there's going to be a more general restock for Mac later on. (I believe something similar happened with Zero Suit Samus and the 30th Anniversary Mario)

I got no new non-Smash Amiibos since Modern Mario came out here, but I pre-ordered the Gold Mega Man Amiibo bundle (still annoyed that it's US exclusive, I'm sick of Nintendo hating Europe. I'm gonna give the game to my New York friend as a free gift since I can't play it anyway).

Got Mewtwo today. I didn't see Falco on shelves, but my brother got him in Toronto (which is good since I was planning to send it to him anyway if I got it), and that's all we were concerned with as far as today's releases go.

Now, I think the only ones left that I want are Dedede, Meta Knight, and (when they come out) Shovel Knight, Cloud, and Ryu.

No it didn't.

The cool stuff was very occasional and very limited in stock. Not much different to the US version in that regard, if not worse (at least the Smash posters were in good supply on the US one).

Most of the time, we just had DS Stylus replacements, DS covers, computer wallpapers and phone ringtones, and Wii Shop Points. We didn't even get free games until the end of the service, and when we did, there were no current or retail games. Just Virtual Console ones and DSiWare.

The currency was also far more stingy than the US one.

But the US also had other physical rewards, that's what I mean. The EU had an occasional bunch of cool rewards, but the US rewards were consistently good, from what I saw, and the selection of free games was great, and even included AAA titles.

And Wii Shop points aren't great since there is jack you can get on the Wii Shop Channel.
