so there is nothing Dtilt is useful for?

at around 120-150 u can dtilt > usmash, fsmash lol

dtilt is reeeeaaally hard to theorycraft/ use in actual situations

because once it gets higher than 50% or so DI affects it too much

if someone DI's away from your Dtilt (Ex. you are facing right, perform the dtilt, and they DI to the left)

you can perform a pivot grab, or hell even a regular grab if they are high enough percent

i wish we had doc's dtilt. it's actually not really but somewhat useful.

I used it TWICE in a sexy combo against a Doc last night.

Started at 10% or something on the left side of DL. So much weirdness!

Uair>utilt>DTILT
DD back around his dsmash attempt
GRAB dthrow>usmash>WL in place on plat just outside his Nair as he lands
DTILT on plat (didn't even know you could do that without falling through LOL)
Jab>pivot ftilt (I seriously have at least one of these in every combo it seems LOL)
SH off reverse Bair>DJ Nair

Something like that...
One of the weirdest combos I've ever done with Mario. A Sheik player watching us was like 'whoa cooooool'

Dtilt is legit.

In Smash 64, Luigi's d-tilt is CRAZY good. It has like no lag.

When we are offstage against falcon

we are near the ledge, falcon drops down and double jumps back onstage with a uair

sending us far away

is there a way to avoid this? save your double jump maybe? because when I save it the uair seems to outrange it anyway

do the tornado upwards>shoot fireball>second jump>FF just enough to where you can sweetspot the ledge with your UpB

so next time I play I'm going to be testing a new technique called scream-chasing

it's like tech chasing but when you think the opponent is going to tech you yell at them and press the A button to jab reset

the scream makes them miss the tech and you get a free grab

usmash also combos into utilt on FFers from 35% - 55%, position dependent so average it out at 40%

Also remember that regrab after an uptilt/smash is good too =)
