I never understood what it meant to bump a post. Explain?

it's not bumping a post...

It's bumping a THREAD. It's when a thread starts to fall down really far on the forum and no one really sees it anymore, so you post there to bump it back up. However that should not have been done to this thread. stop posting here there is no reason to bump this.
