Hey everyone,
I just graduated from school, and bought a house! And I don't know a better way to break it in than to have an epic party.
WHAT: Melee Tournament. See bottom for details.
Also: Halo 3, and Starcraft 2 (as long as the beta is still going), and Brawl if anyone wants to bring it.
Where: My House. It's in Northwest Mesa: 1011 W Heather Dr. 85201.
The major crossroads are Alma School and the 202. Pretty easy to find, and plenty of parking.
When: Saturday May 29, 11:00 AM until whenever everyone leaves.
Why: Because a house without a massive party is just not a house.
Other: FREE FOOD. That's right. I'll be barbecuing some burgers and hotdogs on my brand new grill. Probably some chips and soda and stuff, too. Only one meal, though. I'm not feeding all you people twice!
We should have plenty of space, in our 4 bedrooms. Getting a little hot? No problem! Cool yourself down in our swimming pool It's got lots of water and a diving board. But you probably won't get hot inside because we have air conditioning. And if you're thirsty, you can get a drink from our indoor plumbing. And then when you need to clean a dish, you can place it in our dish washer, or do it yourself. But what if it starts raining? No problem! We've got a roof and several walls, designed to keep that **** out.
Things you should know: We have two indoor cats, so be careful not to let them outside. One is only a couple weeks old. (Adorable) That also means if you're allergic to cats, then man up.
Also, we've got brand new carpeting, so any drink spills will be paid for in your own blood. And blood, of course causes even more messes, which is then paid for in more blood. It's a vicious cycle.
Lastly, if you're coming try to post in this thread to let me know. Just so I know how much food to get. Failure to do so may result in you not getting food.

Singles: $5
Doubles: $5 (per person)
Split: 60/ 30 /10
We want to do a fun format. Not merely a simple double elimination bracket. So it's going to be several rounds of seeded Swiss play, which then will feed into a 4 or 8 person bracket.
Normal Melee rules / stages apply. Whatever. I don't feel like listing them.
VERY IMPORTANT:
Hygiene: Everyone who comes MUST have taken a minimum of 1 (one) shower the morning of the tournament, and also MUST have put on deodorant. Failure to comply with these rules will result in you being thrown into the pool. Consider yourself warned.
