Oooo. Monitors, eh? Are they the ViewSonics that MLG uses? Or just something else? (I should get a VGA adapter for my XBox so I can test out my monitors for lag...)

Bring what drinks and such that you want, but I was planning on providing sufficient soda. If you want booze, you'll probably have to supply it. But don't go too crazy, since there will likely be minors around.

Lunch will be burgers and hotdogs, grilled. Chips, soda... umm... I dunno. Any other requests, perhaps? If it gets late and people want to eat again, I could always cook up some more burgers or whatever. But I'm not planning on buying much more than we'll need.

Other than that, sounds great! It'll be cool to Halo with you guys again.

Also, Smash64 side tourney anyone? I busted out my N64 yesterday and got smash running on it. (I 5 stocked Goop on our first match. lawl)

We're in a neighborhood, yea. The google maps link on the OP should be pretty indicative. Just hit "satellite" or "street view".

Ah. I was just asking. We would probably not drink, as we'll probably have to drive back. I was just making sure the party was at full health. Can you imagine Tai if he was drunk? I wonder if he would become a melee monster. YEAH--I'll refrain from bringing the truth juice.

Also, no, they're not viewsonics. I'm not that hardcore. But they do work fine for online video gaming. Yeah, a VGA adapter is a capital idea.

Yikes, sorry forward. I only have one stick...

I'll bring two extra 360 pads as well.
---
TDM, is there a reason why you prefer the PS3 version?

The PS3 actually has an extra frame of lag (5 frames of lag on an HD) as opposed to the 360 version (which only has 4 frames of lag)

http://www.shoryuken.com/entry.php?b=1045

Although, they do use it in tournaments mostly because 360 is such a ***** to deal with what with all the signing in and out and syncing etc.

Is it the controller perhaps?
---
Jar'd, I'll get it now.
---
Well in any case, see you all this Saturday night! :embarrass

Yes Kosuke, it's because of the controller. I hate sticks too.

I also told myself that I will never willingly touch anything Xbox in my life.

Hey, the 202 is going to be closed this weekend by my house. I'll get some more specific info and post it, but a minor detour will almost surely be needed.

Oh ****, Coty can't make it. Can anyone bring an xbox+halo? We'll only have 3 setups otherwise.

Also, the 202 East from the 101 to my house will be closed this weekend. So take any other alternate route to Alma School and that will get you here.

If you need any help with directions, call me. PM me for my number. (Or call someone who knows my number)

Hey Dan:

Would it be fine getting onto the 202 from i10 (coming from i17), then exiting on Alma School? Is that way blocked at all?

You mean where the 202 intersects Alma school at the south end? You could take that way, but it'd be a big detour. I wouldn't recommend it.

I think your best bet it just to google maps the directions. Then at some point, the 202 is going to close on you. (But you'll be pretty close to the house at this point.) When you're forced off the 202, go over to University and take that to Alma School.

Noooo Kosuke :(

Tucson (Kyle and I) are running a bit late, we should be leaving where we are within an hour, maybe less.
