Looks like we add Micheal Jackson to the list...
along with Ed McMahon...
and Farrah Fawcett...

This thread will be dedicated to those who recently passed away, even family members and such who did not make it through the year, NOT JUST MICHEAL JACKSON!!!!!

If you wish to truly discuss Micheal Jackson, there is an official thread for that. And its not this one.

Farrah Fawcett and Michael both died today. I wonder how many will die the same day next month:ohwell: i don't want to sound rude but it's kind of interesting to see the number of coincidental deaths in one day. Like John Adams and Thomas Jefferson died 3 hours apart in the same day.

Yeah, that is strange, innit?

It seems that some deaths seem to line up in a weird way... I really hope that there is no serrious deaths next month though.

Death is at the end of life. When it arrives is never certain, but like I told my sis in the meantime live like you always do. I just wish I could feel happy for once.

Also yeah my great aunt died this year. Pretty boring funeral

More like "a lot of deaths of FAMOUS PEOPLE lately"

People die every second. It's sad but it's nothing new.

It isn't just about how many are dying, but WHO is dying. If you guys look at the events that lead to these people's death, you will then see. You have to have a spiritual perspective on them to understand. I refuse to go in-depth with it for Global Rules' sake.

Heartz we get it, stop going around with your holier than thou attitude trying to derail threads. Why post if you know it'll stir up trouble? Jeez.

You don't know who I am to accuse me of such a thing. I have every right to express my feelings. Everybody here who knows me doesn't think of me as a troublemaker. If my posts bother you, report them or use Forum Support. I would respect you much more if you did so.

Thanks. ^_^

Anyway.....

Hopefully MJ is the last for now. Carradine, McMahon, and Fawcett didn't really affect me, since they're all either from well before my time, or in Kill Bill, which I did not get more than 20 minutes into (squeamish). But everyone knows MJ, and I listen to his music despite it also being from before my time. Every time someone famous dies, especially unexpectedly, it forces me to acknowledge my own mortality, which I'd rather forget and have go away. But the truth is we never know when our time to go is until it's too late to do anything about it except to accept it and let go.

In September 2003 Johnny Cash and John Ritter died
In August 2008 it was Bernie Mac and Isac Hayes
In June 2009 it's McMahon, Fawcett, Jackson and Carradine.

Quite a lot of multiple deaths in this decade. For some reason I think I'm missing a multiple death date though.

People we don't know die everyday. I mean, it isn't "amazing" because it's famous people, it's just random "luck". Luck is a terrible choice of word, forgive me =(

All in all, a good thread to pay our respects. Which we can do because we DO "know" these people.

It's the nature of the internet and anonymity. You can say what you want how you want because no one knows who you really are. It's not surprising someone said something like that.

...**** you.

Like somebody already said, people die every second. What about the kids that die all the time that get no recognition?

They do get recognition, there are obituaries and funerals. You can't honestly expect famous people to not get more recognition than average people. Some people feel connected to their favorite celebrities, you won't find those connections with random people and as a result celebrities and other important figures overshadow average people.

I don't see how this matters anyway, people will recognize who they want to recognize and there's nothing anyone can do to change that.

Hey, calm down.

FYI, If you read the first post of this thread, its not JUST for famous people, but ANYONE who might have died recently, so quit it with the hostilities!!!!

For example:
Last month, Along with the MJ/Farah/millions of other deaths, someone who went to the church I used to go to got blasted in the back of the head and died... Also the pastors of that church got held at gunpoint... IN THE SAME MONTH... So, if there is a specific death you'd like to bribg up, NOT ONLY ACTORS, here is a VERY nice place to do so.

Speaking of recent deaths. I don't know if any of you heard, supposedly it was on national TV, but there was a monorail accident at disney yesterday at 2:00am and my friend was the driver who was killed.

How many more deaths are we going to have to endure before it's all over? This is really depressing.
