no, there are only 4 drivers that should really be driving this in this community. Me, MattS, James, and Kira. and one i really really REALLY trust, which would be MattS, ive known him for a good while, i know how he drives, how he reacts, etc. and i know he knows the value of the lives of the people that are in that car with him. no offense to james and kira, but i have never seen james drive, i dont have a bad opinion of him, however i dont have a good one either. Even if jason has his license by then, he still has his mood swings, Matt+ is young and inexperienced, again no offense, but ive seen teenagers drive and it scares me. moreover, its also the other bastaqrds on the roads i dont trust... not only that, but if someone does decide to ride with you, its up to you to get temporary insurance for the person (which i also will be checking on), and if he gets into a wreck, you're still gonna be part of it and since its ur car and ur 17, ur insurance skyrockets anyways. lastly, those of you who are under 18, i want you to ask permission from your parents before the new years, me, kira and james will be talking to them as well.
this is the first big thing that our community has done in awhile, i dont want ANYTHING botching this up. time for a lot of you to get responsible for this ****
oh, and motorhomes will be out of the question, none of us are old enough to rent, let alone drive one. so cars it will be.

no, for the last ****ing time, NO ****ING CARS, if yo **** cant do 4 wheel drive and haul some serious cargo, STFU. also, im planning out our route and itinerary. while the tournament is still in its planning stages, i want us to be planning as well, nothing half ***** like genesis and fall through. remember i want a confirmation from everyone before the new years.

Guys I did some math and it's going to be at least $250 per person for gas alone, we should probably bump up the price per person to 400 or 500 dollars. Remember you don't necessarily have to spend all the money you bring.
So start saving up.

What are you driving?!!!?? lol
I got to genesis and back (25 hours in 2 days, I was the only driver) [I'm like 5 hours north of Vancouver btw) with 2 people + me. I didn't pay anything for gas as it was my car, and they only payed 55-75$ each. (roughly)
+ I made about 30 trips from the tourney and hotel to costco, taco time, and other assorted food places. As well as got lost several times in portland etc on the way there.
250$ is like a bus... >_>

To get those numbers I used the milepost road distance from Anchorage to Seattle (I know were only going to Vancouver but we will still drive around a bit once we get to Vancouver and in Seattle. Alaska is actually REALLY **** FAR AWAY.

listen, people are inexperienced, and safety is my NUMBER ONE concern for everyone! we are going to be 2350 MILES AWAY FROM HOME. if ANYTHING happens, ANYTHING i cant help you! your parents cant help you! no one can help you! you're gonna be stuck in the middle of nowhere up **** creek without a ****ing paddle. what if the car crashed? someone gets hurt? car breaks down? someone does something stupid and lands some of us in jail? **** happens, and when 6 teenagers are on a road trip, its bound to happen! i also wana make sure that, if we say, hey dont do this because its stupid and gonna get us all in trouble, that people listen. really, if you guys dont wanna listen to me, and do your own thing, its cool with me. but as far as i know, im really the only one whose made long distance car trips. what im saying is that, i dont want this to be a repeat of Genesis, where we planned **** out 2 months in advance and nothing happened.

That happened on our road trip. Derek's car just suddenly died, in what seemed like the middle of nowhere in utah. luckily we were actually just a few miles outside a tiny town, so we got it towed in and a mechanic said the engine was completely blown beyond repair. we couldn't have gotten another engine for at least a couple weeks so derek just said "**** it" - ditched his car and bought a new one off the mechanic's relative or something

anyways, watt's friend might have a van, so it could be comfortable for us all
