I don't like MM2 because of it's lack of air control.

Also sorry James, but Arthur has a better Sheik imo.

Which really shouldn't be talked about here, sorry about that :/

can anyone say crew battles?!?!?!?!

anyways, i say we must begin training right away. the way we've been doing friendlies and such cannot be done the same way. i say we set certain goals for ourselves over the months to ensure improvement. i was speaking to derek last night and i quote "what that means is that trying too hard not to lose and sticking to strategies you think work isn't going to get you as far as going in with the mindset of seeing what works and what doesn't" looks like we're gonna have to try different stuff. also, WE GOT THIS GUYS!!! you have to go beyond impossible and kick reason to the curb! wether its impossible or laughable its the path that all great men walk! if there's a wall in our way we'll break it down. If there's no path, we'll make one with these bare hands! The magma in our hearts in blazing like flames, an everlasting combustion! who the hell do you think we are? you have to believe in yourself, not you who believes in me, not me who believes in you, but YOU who believes in yourself! our controllers are ones that will pierce the heavens, the earth and into tomorrow!!!!

alright, epic speech as been given, by the rules, everyone should be motivated and suddenly increase in skill by tenfold

also, remember that a lot of top players are going to be going to the tournament. so not only we should try and do well down there, i also think we can learn and improve by seeking out their advice as well.

anyways, im hyped and down to smash today, gimme a call bros

I meant for someone of my skill. Or just ones that have really good music with a low difficulty option.

I can do light now so begginer isn't necessary.

EDIT: Everyone, we need to all buy our tickets together, you can get discounts for being in a group.

Or we could just drive there lol smash road trip. We would need a van though.......

Che said something about having a car and mike has a car but people will obviously need to pitch in for gas money

anyway, just download songs off of www.stepmania.com until you can do those well, they're good songs for beginners

This is mike.

alright, heres the roster.

Mike*
Kira*
James*
Ean
Caleb
Jason
Matt
plus 2 iffies.

*people who are driving

the vehicles we will be taking

My truck (seats 5, has room for cargo)
Jason's truck (seats 5, has room for cargo)

Things we need

$200 per person. everyone chips in 100 for gas, and the other 100 is for food and basic necessities.
Mattresses
recording equipment

the plan is that we're basically gonna throw one mattress in the back of each truck, and just sleep in the back, and rotate drivers throughout the day. i will be looking into temporary insurance or those who are driving. trucks and SUVs are extremely efficient in road trips, and we wanna avoid cars. that means we cant take caleb's lexus, kira's VW, or Matt+'s car.

its gonna be 2350 miles, and at a rate of 60MPH for 16 hours, its gonna take 3.5 days, giving us 8 hours of sleep each day. this trip is gonna take at least 12 days. also, after the tournament we were thinking about driving down to seattle as well so we can chill with eggz, and smash with washington people.

I don't know about the whole truck and mattress thing. I might just end up taking my car and driving there alone, or 1 other person to sleep in the back. Also depends on whether or not I can take the minivan... and how many people are going for sure.
We should get a definate list of people who are going by March.

(caleb)

also we can totally go over 60 mph when we are in the middle of nowhere..

60 MPH is an estimate, plus we're gonna wanna get there earlier. so that we dont dive in right after a 16 hour drive... i say we get there the night before, drink our ***** off, wake up with a massive hangover, smoke that **** off with some frostweave bags, then head to the tournament.

My mom said I can go, but it really depends on when it is.

Also I'm not much of a tailoring guy, alchemy is ok however.

Also if we are sleeping in the back of the truck where are we keeping all our clothes and stuff. I guess we'll just have to bring a lot of deodorant haha.

you guys always forget me =[
you want to travel 2350 miles to a melee only tournament? IMO you better start practicing

I don't particularly like the idea of sleeping outside in the back of a truck with 4 other dudes. I'll either sleep in the back of my moms minivan or my car, you/other people are welcome.

If it helps at all, there's a train or something from Seattle to Vancouver. I'm not sure how much it is or anything, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be hard to look up. Also, protip (just in case): A roundtrip plane ticket from Anchorage to Seatac right now would probably be about 500. That's just a guess though.

Edit: the train from Seattle to Vancouver is 26 dollars. And I checked flights from ANC to SEA in May. Including tax, they should be about 532 dollars. It depends on when the trip is. Again, I hope this helps.

trip is gonna take 2 weeks guys, its gonna take a week alone to drive there and back. 4 days spend in vancouver, and 3 days spent in washington. and im upping the amount everyone needs to have. 300 dollars, period. no less, im gonna be doing a check off 2 weeks before the leave date, you must provide proof that you have the money, you dont have the money, you arent coming with, no exceptions. caleb, you can take ur own car, i dont care, but ur gonna be the only one driving it, and 16 hours at the wheel by urself, with no rests, have fun with that.... the plan is for the other 2 cars, we're gonna be rotating drivers, so we might not even have to stop and rest that much. otherwise, im purchasing a milepost book tomorrow, and plan out a more detailed route.

i want there to be 2 vehicles only, any more is gonna be extemely inefficient to coordinate, and its gonna cost a lot more due to gas.

also, brad's GF, get back in the ****ing kitchen, tickets are gonna be ****ing 850 dollars, and even if we did fly to seattle, our movement will be limited as compared to when we have cars. we've already decided we're driving, stop bringing up useless info.

Guys If I can convince my mom to let us use our SUV that's a car with 8 seats and plenty of room for cargo/sleeping peeps. Expect to pay a lot for gas money though.

I really doubt that she would let me use it though

Uh, okay. Again, I was just trying to help. I didn't know y'all confirmed the driving thing. And also, they're only 850 dollars when you buy them at the very last minute. But I guess I'll stop bringing up useless info. Go about your business.
