Melee improves your techskill. Play that game over Brawl if you want tech skill. Unless you are trying to DACUS with Shiek or pull off some frame perfect BS like that consistently lol.

SDI+Tech is helpful thing to learn for Brawl. Might as well practice on that.

btw I played a Diddy today and the whole banana thing stomps me. I'm thinking of risking it and just holding the banana and using my specials to prevent a banana lock.

diddy on wifi is completely broken.
almost unbeatable if the player spams enough.
the only loses i ever had on the aib ladder were to diddys.

Did you look at the matchup on the marth boards?

Well, as Sheik, I usually use her speed to grab the bananas, throw them off stage, and keep as close to Diddy as I can so he doesn't pull out any more. Marth is also fairly fast on the ground, so he should be able to do this.

Also, do not think Diddy without bananas is not a threat. He is still a fairly good character without them.

Are we playing the same game? It's no ALttP or Link's Awakening, but it has so much charm, the lack of difficulty so far is a non-issue. The game doesn't seem to be designed behind the console philosophy of Zelda. It's a really pick up and play for a few minutes, put it away for a bit, get to the next area, beat the next room in the dungeon. Don't try to blaze through it.

Also, I want to play. Tomorrow might work.
